BIRTH OF “NEW SLFP- NSLFP” WITH UPFA- RIP SLFP OF SIRISENA AND CHANDRIKA

The current Sri Lanka Freedom Party has abrogated the basic values based on which the party was formed. It has merged with the UNP and is facing severe identity crisis. By joining the UNP government whilst in Opposition, the smelly SLFP has completed its final ritual acts of burial.
Looking forward for Sri Lanka, the emergence of new team under the UPFA has gained its pride of place. Formation of “New Sri Lanka Freedom Party NSLFP) ( Nawa Sri Lanka Nidahas Pakshaya) with the UPFA constituent parties, under the leadership of President Mahinda Rajapakse will be the overwhelming demand of people of Sri Lanka.
Before facing the General Election, the volume of work involved in organizing and establishing the NSLFP at grass root levels need time and resources. It is no longer necessary to wait for the downfall of the SLFP, as it has already happened. The NSLFP need to set its own new Head Office, move swiftly to set up Branches around the country at supersonic speed.
The Sri Lankans are now eagerly waiting for the creation of a new chapter in their lives. Their only hope is President Mahinda Rajapakse.

YEs let the Sinhalese disintegrate more. The dividing of the Sinhalese stated with SLFP financed by India and Indian merchants. The basic practices (bugger the values) of the SLFP was to destroy the Sinhalese.

As these events have unfolded thus far, it is clear that by allowing the SLFP to split, My3 has demonstrated that he is playing to the tune of some other drummers and not a true SLFPer; i.e., there are other loyalties that he is more beholden to. In fact one hesitates to use the appropriate words to describe what has taken place, as it is altogether too shocking.
Most importantly, the people have been cheated insofar as their franchise at the 2015 Pres. 5lection.
Democracy keeps being turned on its head with no sense of responsibility or accountability for the repercussions.
It is the return of MR than can now resurrect and take back the charge of the national trajectory to safeguard this nation from being fractured into what some internal and external schemers seem to have set as their goal.

In 2010 soon after MR won the Presidential Election 16 UNP members crossed over to the SLFP/UPFA to be given Ministerial positions. Thus giving a 2/3 rd majority to MR only for him to consolidate his executive powers by enacting the 18th Amendment.
Under the current scenario the SLFP MP’s still retain their membership to the party whilst serving a SLFP President.
The 3 rallies held by the Rajapakse supporters has been widely organised, supported and attended by SLFP Provincial Councillors. Is it any wonder MR keeps quiet about repealing the 13th Amendment?

You are wrong. My3, Ranil, Rajitha or any other enemies of the nation are not the determining factors of the history, but people of Sri Lanka, especially Sinhalese. If ballot is denied, there are many ways to achieve political aspirations of people. The world history is full of such events, and Sri Lanka is no different. At such eventualities, usually traitors never go home like at the end of elections, but six feet under.

Broken up political parties can re-form for the good of the country, after UK elections are over.
Was Lanka going too far with China ? It appears not as most of the west are now flying with China for economic benefits. Prince William of Gt Britain visited China recently.
Re death of Pres Sirisena’s brother : Death due to violence because of use of bad language causing resultant extreme anger. A moments pause by a person/s used to doing Meditation would have averted such a tragedy.
Lankans must learn self control through use of Meditation techniques. Even in the west, Meditation is used to reform prisoners and Vippassana Bhavana centres are opening up here and there. After Colonial rule, True Buddhism practiced more abroad than in Lanka ? Human life seems devalued both in Lanka and India. Parliament should practice 10 minutes of Meditation prior to sessions? An Age of Truth must dawn for us all.

If, CBK having been out of power for 10 years, that too after having had such a useless record in power and RW having been rejected by the people umpteen times even before his betrayal of the country with his infamous CFA (that was made possible by the current collaborator CBK inviting the Norwegians to mediate), could become the ones that decide the government policies by merely keeping a figure head at the front, how could it be impossible for ex president MR to come back, particularly because the bogus accusations are being revealed to be what they were?

කිසි දිනක සුව නොවන කෞටිල්යවාදී නිධන්ගත රෝගයකින් පෙළෙන දුෂ්ට ඉන්දියානු ව්යාප්තවාදයේ සනාතනික ආක්රමණවලින් රට රැක ගැනීමේ සිංහලයාගේ ආත්ම ආරක්ෂණවාදී වීරෝදාර සටන් පිළිබඳ සනාතනික ශෝක ගීතය වශයෙන් මා විසින් හඳුන්වනු ලබන ලංකා ඉතිහාස කතාවේ වැදගත්ම සංසිද්ධියක් නිදාගෙන සිටින ජාතියක් අවදි කිරීම සඳහා මේ අන්දමින් ප්රබලව සිනමාවට නැංවීමෙන් ජයන්ත චන්ද්රසිරි සිදුකොට ඇති මෙහෙය ප්රශංසනීයය.
රජුන්, රැජිනියන් හා කුමාරවරුන් තම රටවැසියා වෙනුවෙන් ඉටුකළ යුතු යුතුකම් රන් හුයක් සේ කතාන්තරය පුරාම ගලා යයි. ඒ අතරම ගැමුණු කුමරු මාගමට කැටිව යැමට පැමිණි නන්දිමිත්ර යෝධයා සමග කෙරෙන කතාබහේදී “කුමාරවරුන් බොරු කීවත් ගොවියන් බොරු නොකියන බව නඟාලීමෙන් වර්තමානයේ සිටින දේශපාලන කුමාරවරුන්ටද සියුම් උපහාසයක් කිරීමට ජයන්ත අමතක නොකරන බව පෙනේ. අව්යාජ සිංහල ගැමියාගේ නියම ප්රතිරූපයද ඉන් විදහා දැක්වෙයි.
කොත්මලේ සිට මාගමට යන විට ගැමුණු කුමරු සමගින් සාලිය කුමරකුද එසේම බිසවක්ද යෑවීමෙන් මහාවංශ කතුවරයා අපට නොවිස¹ ඉතිරිකොට ගිය ගැටලුවක්ද ජයන්ත නිරාකරණය කොට ඇත. ඒ සමග ධර්මසේන හිමියන්ද අභිබවා මානව චර්යා ධර්මතාව පිළිබඳ යථාර්ථයද ඔහු පෙන්වාදී ඇතැයි සිතමි. මේ නිර්මාණය තුළින් මනමේ නාට්යයේ මනමේ කුමරිය නින්දාවෙන් නිදොස් කරවා ගැනීම සඳහා එදිරිවීර සරච්චන්ද්රයන් යොදාගත් උපාය ජයන්ත විසින්ද මෙහිදී යොදාගෙන තිබීම ප්රශංසනීයය.
අනෙක් අතින් සිංහල බෞද්ධ රාජ්යයේ භික්ෂුවගේ කාර්යභාරය සහ උරුමය මෙන්ම වගකීමද කතාව පුරාම ගලායන අන්දමින් හසුරුවා ඇත. විශේෂයෙන්ම ගැමුණු කුමරු හා තිස්ස කුමරුන්ගේ පිරිස් අතර සිදුවීමට යන සටනේදී දෙපාර්ශ්වයේ අවි ගැටීමෙන් මතුවන ගිනිපුළිඟු මෙන්ම, මැරී වැටෙන සිය දහස් ගණනක් දැන් දැන් දක්නට ලැබේ යයි නරඹන්නන් විසින්ම ත්රාසයෙන් බලා සිටිද්දී යුද පෙරමුණු දෙක මැදින් ආකස්මිකව මතුවී ඉදිරියට ඇදෙන බැබළෙන කසාවතින්, එක් වචනයකුදු නොබැණ යුද්ධය වැළැක්වූ අයුරුද විශිෂ්ට සිනමා අවස්ථාවකි. මෙවැනි දර්ශන තුළින් ශේ්රෂ්ඨ ජාතියක් සතු සමාජ හරයන් ඉස්මතුකොට දක්වා තිබීමද අපූරුය. එළාර, කාවන්තිස්ස, විහාරමහා දේවි සහ ගැමුණු කුමරුගේ චරිතද ඉතා විශිෂ්ට අන්දමින් හසුරුවා ඇත. මෙහිලා ජැක්සන් ඇන්තනී (එළාර), ශ්රියන්ත මෙන්ඩිස් (කාවන්තිස්ස), කුසුම් රේණු (විහාරමහා දේවි) සහ උද්ධික ප්රේමරත්න (ගැමුණු) යන නම්ද කිසි විටෙකත් අමතක කළ නොහැක.
දුටුගැමුණු – එළාර පුවතේ වැදගත්ම කොටස යුද්ධය වුවද විශේෂයෙන්ම මහියංගණයේ සිට රජරට දක්වාත්, එතැන් සිට විජිතපුරය දක්වාත් බලකොටු පිට බලකොටු විනාශ කරමින් කෙරුණු යුද්ධය මෙන්ම විජිතපුර සටනද ලුහුඬින් සටහන් වීම මා සිතට ප්රහේළිකාවකි. එසේම එළාර රජු මියයැමෙන් පසු සිද්ධීන් අතර සතුරාට පවා ගෞරව කිරීමේ සිංහල රාජ නීතිය උලුප්පා දක්වන අවස්ථාව එළාර සිහිවටන ස්තූපය නිර්මාණය ආදිය මෙන්ම දුටුගැමුණු රජුගේ පශ්චාත් යුද ආශ්චර්යන් වන රුවන්වැලිසෑය, ලෝවාමහාපාය ආදී ශාසනික සේවාවන් මෙන්ම ඒ සියල්ලටමත් වඩා තුන්හෙළය එක්සේසත් කිරීමේ පුවත උලුප්පා නොදැක්වීම සිංහලයේ අසහාය මහා නරපතියාට සිදු කෙරුණු අසාධාරණයක් දෝයි මට සිතිනි. එසේම සිවුරු හැර යුද්ධයට පැමිණි ථෙරපුත්තාභය යුද්ධයෙන් පසු කෙළෙස් සොරුන් සමග යුද්ධයට නික්ම ගිය පරමාදර්ශනද සඳහන් වූයේ නම් වර්තමානයේ සිටින දේශපාලන හා ව්යාපාරික භික්ෂූන්ට පණිවුඩයක් දීමට හැකිව තිබිණැයිද මට සිතුණි.
කෙසේ වුවද තිර රචනය මත රූප රාමු දිගහැරෙන විට මගේ රට හා සම්ප්රදායන් පිළිබඳ මහත් ආඩම්බර බවක් මට දැනුණාක් මෙන්ම මා සරසවි සිසුවකුව සිටියදී දුටු ඔeබ ඤපප්බාපැබඑs සහ ඵඑ ඵදබඑe Caරකද වැනි චිත්රපට මා සිහියට නැගුණේ නිතැතිනි. එසේම තවමත් තරුණ ජයන්ත චන්ද්රසිරි කලාකරුවා මා දකිනුයේ සිංහල නාට්ය වංශ කතාවේ අනාගත සරච්චන්ද්ර කෙනෙක් වශයෙනි. ගායන ක්ෂේත්රයේ අමරදේව සහ නන්දා මාලිනී වැනි චරිතයකි. එසේම සංගීත ලෝකයේ කේමදාස කෙනෙකි. තමන් සතු අසීමිත සුරුවිරුකම් යොදා හෙට දිනයේ මහා පරාක්රමබාහු වත සහ සිංහලේ උඩරට රාජධානියට සහ එහි වැසියන්ට බ්රිතාන්ය යටත්විජිතවාදී ආක්රමණිකයන් විසින් සිදු කරන ලද විනාශයන් අලලා විශ්ව සිනමාකරණයකට සුදුසු නිර්මාණ දෙකක් කිරීමටද ජයන්ත චන්ද්රසිරියන්ට ශක්තිය, ධෛර්ය හා වාසනාව ලැබේවායි ප්රාර්ථනය කරමි.
අවසාන වශයෙන් මේ රටේ ඉතිහාසය, සම්ප්රදායන් සහ ජාතික උරුමයන් පිළිබඳ මෙලෝ අවබෝධයක් හෝ හැඟීමක් නැති වල්මත්ව පිස්සු කෙළිමින් නයිට් ක්ලබ්වල කුණුවෙමින් අයාලේ යන තරුණ තරුණියන්ට සහ රටේ අනාගතය භාර ගැනීමට සිටින සියලුම පාසල් සිසුන්ටද “මහරජ ගැමුණු” වැනි චිත්රපට බැලීමට අවස්ථාව ලබාදෙන මෙන් වගකිව යුත්තන්ගෙන් ඉල්ලීමටද මම මෙය අවස්ථාවක් කර ගනිමි.

I don’t believe he was a THUG doing criminal activities. Even if he was a THUG he does not deserve death penalty because his brother defeated MR. He was simple Sinhala small businessman trying to make a living close to LTTE areas. Just compare with MR’s youngest brother.
Soon after MY3 became president this man was given highlighted THUG title. I believe media is partly responsible for his tragic death.
All formations are impermanent , suffering and non-self.
May he attain Nibbaana !

Please don’t make wild accusations against me. I TELL FRANKLY what I’m and I have always done so WHATEVER the consequences are.
I’m NOT working for anyone. My only concern in a UNITARY SINHELA SL.
I’m totally AGAINST another 1987, 1988 or 1989 style Singhala uprisings. That will only kill poor Singhala young men.
I have LOST all faith in My3 now. I will not defend him anymore.
But lets be PRACTICAL.
1. 19 amendment will be passed.
2. That will stop MR becoming president again.
3. PM is the CHOICE of the president. You CANNOT FORCE the president to appoint someone as PM. RUN-NIL with just 50 seats in parliament is PM!!
4. I know My3 HATES MR and will NEVER appoint him as PM.
5. IN ADDITION there are 2 other INTERNAL forces – CBK and RUN-NIL.
The ONLY way is to do what I said.
I AGREE traitors deserve to be 6 feet under. That is EXACTLY what I want to see happening in SL.

You may know that his SAND MINING operation included mining sand on river beds in dry season.
When rains came the water level was LOW than it used to be. It deprived some SINGHALA villages water but he NEVER attempted anything like this on rivers that flow to TAMIL areas.
He should not have done so.
He also had a plan to DIG parts of PARAKRAMA SAMUDRA to save his brother’s ARALIYA resort in heavy raining seasons so his OTHER BROTHER (My3) will not have to open sluice gates.
I AGREE he is way better than BR!

You may also consider WHY Hugo Chavez died, WHY Kobbekaduwa lost in 1982, why MR lost in 2015, etc.
Truth will NOT prevail automatically. Remember this is the KALI YUGA.
My3 instructed by CBK and RW is doing everything he can to STOP MR and GR coming to power and his plans are working. Call them evil plans, RAW plans or whatever but they are working.

Lorenzo, in my view MR lost because having got the path cleared for a third term he did not prepare the ground work that was necessary to be elected for a third term.
In no particular order some that comes to my mind are:
1. The peace dividend did not reach the people with fixed incomes, while the rampant affluence was being flaunted by the rulers.
2. There was a widespread perception that people with connections to the rulers could ‘get away even with murder’.
3. There were not any truly capable players except GR who did an excellent job.
4. The ex president MR had a blind eye for his unruly ministers bad ways.
5. After the 18th A. was passed he did not start cleaning up the administration by getting rid of the bad people, both that came through the swing door and those who were already there. His keeping them to get the 18th A was understandable! He might have had to call a GE as a result but he called a PE instead!
6. The rulers moving about on the roads like critically ill patients being taken by ambulance to hospital, with security details escorting them was not gradually decreased and removed.
7. People were predisposed to believe even the wildly exaggerated or even complete lies being spread against the regime during the election period itself and prior to it.
8. The PE was called 2 years prematurely instead of using that time to remedy the above and any other shortcomings.
9. Long term UPFA members being neglected in the process of accommodating those who came through the swing door.
I have said these things before at different times but did not fall for the plans of CBK and RW and their other backers.
I did not ‘make wild accusations’ against you though you have taken my comment as such.
My point there was simply that if CBK and RW could make a come back so could ex-president MR, not even called it a certainty!

When you sort of condescendingly declaring that ‘this is the end of the road for MR and GR’ in a forum where majority members are backing MR and GR passionately, what is the effect you expect from such a comment from these forum members? To believe you? Whether you accept it or not Lorenzo, one can expect only psychological effect from such statement especially in a forum where majority wouldn’t believe it.
Do you really think this forum members would believe that My3 and Runil are in a position of strength to stop MR and GR therefore Lorenzo was correct, and this is the end of the road for MR and GR? Lorenzo, that is the pun here because you say the opposite knowing the fact that days are numbered for My3 and co.
Look around Lorenzo, what do you see…a crumbling regime or strong one? Of course, the days are numbered my friend.
I still would say that your statement is absurd and becomes empty, unless you accept the fact that it will only effective as a propaganda piece for psy-ops for the gullible.
The other reason that I say this because I know you are not ‘the gullible’ to say it, unless you have ulterior motives. But I respect your right to harbor your opinion about the future of MR and GR. And hope you respect ours.

Similarly CBK can smell POWER 6000 kilometers away. What attracted her BACK to SL which she left? POWER.
When MR changed the constitution for a 3rd term, CBK got ideas and came back.
BUT she is more cunning than that. She is NOT going to do the same mistake of MR. She is going to do whatever it takes to stop MR, etc. from coming back. That is the DIFFERENCE.
MR did NOTHING to stop CBK and RW come back to power! Actually he helped them.
Don’t expect a return favor.
If we cry over the CLOSED DOOR, we will be crying forever. LOOK FOR the open window!!

A COMMODO DRAGON can smell rotten flesh 4 kilometers away!!
Similarly CBK can smell POWER 6000 kilometers away. What attracted her BACK to SL which she left? POWER.
When MR changed the constitution for a 3rd term, CBK got ideas and came back.
BUT she is more cunning than that. She is NOT going to do the same mistake of MR. She is going to do whatever it takes to stop MR, etc. from coming back. That is the DIFFERENCE.
MR did NOTHING to stop CBK and RW come back to power! Actually he helped them.
25 rupees could have stopped her in time!!

I’m NOT against GR coming to politics. I DESPERATELY WANT it. I want GR to become president.
There is a way. The SAME WAY CBK became president. The SAME WAY RUN-NIL became the UNP leader. THINK. But if you are NOT agreeing to that way, I think it is better to stop dreaming. It will not happen.

I lost hope in My3 when his govt. agreed with Endia to allowing TN fishermen to fish in SL waters for 83 days a year.
The TNA govt of SL is thinking STRATEGICALLY. Of course people eat fish but people CAN live without eating northern fish. But there are people who CANNOT live without fish in the north. They are Tamil fishermen in the north. Check election results to see who are UPFA’s biggest voters in the north. These fishermen. Almost all EPDP cadres (the ONLY pro-SL people in the north) are made up of them.
Endia, TNA, TN and My3 successfully BUSTED them.

Anything about my hero Mahinda is good news for not only me but to millions in this country of ours. He should listen to the voice of the people and must come forward to represent them at this critical moment.International community, India and Dispora is waiting and marking their time when to strike with the collaboration of traitors within.We have to organize from grass root level to counter attack their bogus complaints and bogus lies.
MR should not repeat his past mistakes.People want’s him to be a new man with a new vision. He should come forward with a newset of good decent people who will work for the betterment of the ordinary people not work for themselves to get rich and richer by the day. He should listen to the demands of the Sinhala people first and work to keep all races and religions together and in peace.He should get rid of NGO’S who were dangerous to our sovereignty. He should be a man of peace and work for the unity of all citizens.No more family business. Be a leader to ordinary people of Sri Lanka.

All the ideas on what MR should do in the future for Lanka are well and good. But, do people consider the fact that there is still a War Crimes charge from the UNHRC against Mahinda Rajapakse, his govt and the armed forces of Lanka ? That has to be removed first if he is come forward. What are the educated folk and other concerned people doing about that ?
The present new illegal govt does not make matters easy for MR & his family and past govt either, as this new govt brings in false charges against them all on a daily basis.
I am beginning to think that the new illegal govt is bringing the country’s ECONOMY & FINANCIAL sectors DOWN for reasons best known to them. Possible end game is too horrific to write down ….

One thing is for certain. Any thing based on or built on lies can not last long and this governmnet soon will proves how true that is.
