ඉදිරියේදී පාසැල් විෂය මාලාවෙන් බුද්ධාගම ඉවත් කරන්නට හිටපු ජනාධිපතිනි චන්ද්‍රිකා කුමාරතුංග මහත්මියගේ ප‍්‍රධානත්වයෙන් යුතු ජාතික සහජීවනය සඳහා වූ කාර්යාලය විසින් යෝජනා කර තිබේ.
බුද්ධාගම ඉවත් කර ඒ වෙනුවට සියළු ආගම් ගැන සිසුනට අධ්‍යාපනය ලබා දෙන නවතම විෂයක් එක් කිරීමට ද ඉන් යෝජනා කර ඇති බව ‘ද අයිලන්ඞ්’ පුවත්පත වාර්තා කරයි.
