Support for Terrorism On New Zealand Roads

Dear Editor,
I was shocked and horrified to see a car with a personalized plate LTTE”, in Wellington on Sunday 24th.
LTTE, Liberation Tigers of Tamil Elam have been labeled the most brutal” terrorist group by the FBI. They devised suicide bombers kits and so introduced suicide bombing in it’s present form & waged three decades of terrorism in Sri Lanka causing untold loss of innocent life, limb and property. Many of us fled Sri Lanka to escape this terror.
In 2009 they were eliminated from Sri Lanka but the international machinery that sustained them with propaganda and funds still remains intact.
This plate is a brazen declaration of support for Tiger Terrorism as it attempts revival.
Would New Zealand permit such open support for Al Qaeda or ISIS, that is having immense adverse impact on the west.
If countries turn a blind eye to support of terrorist groups because these groups don’t directly affect them, in this case LTTE & New Zealand, the scourge of terrorism will always be with us.
I urge the authorities to withdraw this plate and place it’s owner under surveillance for supporting terrorism .

No point in telling the Ambassadors. They are too busy doing business to make money or have no time as they are involved with their children´s education. They will turn a blind eye!

All correspondence has been cc ed to HC in Canberra, Hon Consul in Wellington. Similar letter has been written to Prime Minister John Key with cc to HC, Hon Consul & few other MP’s.
A formal complaint has gone to the authority issuing personalised plates who have acknowledged it and indicated that they are looking into it.
I have traced the name of the probable owner who has a Sri lankan Tamil name.

P.A.S. YOU are very correct there. They also party a lot, and with probably free Booze, they are in another world. They are actually Political SCUM, except for a handful.

Thank you for your vigilance, as always, Chula! Ambassadors and their lapdogs will do nothing! Your letter to the Authority issuing personalised plates gives me hope!
This is but a tiny glimpse of the resurgence LTTE has been experiencing since jahapaalane breathed life into the LTTE carcase during the last year! We will see more in the coming months! In fact I feel that we are back in 1983!

I too really fear that. Then too, it started with small incidents that went unnoticed by most except the very vigilant till it became a sizable fire and then a raging inferno.
I do hope that history does not repeat it self but would surely do so if we all are not vigilant and fearful to stand up and speak up.
