It is very clear to every one now that Ranil is not the “MR Clean” and not a good economic manager . He is a “Pal Hora”, First he dissolved the parliament to save Ravi from the no confidence motion. At the time we did not know that he also wanted to stop the first COPE report as well. Now we also know his best friend Mahendran too says Ranil is behind the bond scam as well. What a crook. Why is the FCID did not put him in custody?

අවුරුදු තුන හතරකට පෙර සිටම මා අර්ථසාධක අරමුදලේ වංචා සිදුවෙන බව කිව්වා. මම චාට්‌ එකක්‌ ගෙනත් එදා මාධ්‍යවල පෙන්නුවා. එදා මම කථා කළේ පර්පෙචුවල් ට්‍රෙෂරීස්‌ සමාගමේ මවු සමාගම ගැනයි. මේ ගැන එදා මා රාජ්‍ය සේවා කොමිසමටත් පැමිණිලි කළා. හිටපු මහ බැංකු අධිපතිවරයකු වූ අජිත් නිවාඩ් කබ්රාල් මහතා පැය තුනක්‌ විතර ඉඳලා නැගිටලා ගියා. නැවත කබ්රාල් මහතා රාජ්‍ය සේවා කොමිසමට ගෙන්වා ගන්න මාස 13 ක්‌ ගියා. එදත් ඔහු නැගිටලා ගියා. මේ ගැන ගැඹුරින් අධ්‍යනය කළොත් වැඩි විස්‌තර ලබාගත හැකිවේවි.
අපි කිසිම වෙලාවක හිටපු මහ බැංකු අධිපති අර්ජුන මහේන්ද්‍රන් මහතා ආරක්‌ෂා කරගන්න කතා කළේ නැහැ. මම හෘද සාක්‌ෂියට අනුව වැඩ කරන අයෙක්‌. කෝප් කමිටු සභාපතිවරයා විසින් හිටපු මහා බැංකු අධිපතිවරයා සම්බන්ධයෙන් ගතයුතු බවට නිර්දේශ කළ කරුණු අනුව ඉක්‌මනින් කටයුතු කළ යුතුයි.

Mahendran FLED to ESCAPE INTEROGATION and AVOIDING becoming WITNESS against RANIL and his GOONS!
If this EVIDENCE in the TESTIMONY given to the cOPE Committee is TRUE, RANIL should RESIGN or be SACKED, and then be INDICTED and PROSECUTED to CRIMINAL FRAUD of the HIGHEST ORDER!
Now, it is UP TO President Aiyoo Sirisena TO ACT to UPHOLD the Law of the LAND! ACT NOW or be PAINTED with the SAME BRUSH!

Former Central Bank Governor Arjuna Mahendran said he will before long prove himself innocent of allegations and charges of wrongdoing in connection with the controversial Central Bank Bonds issue.
In a telephone conversation with Ceylon Today last Friday, from Singapore, he said he was not hiding away to duck this issue, but was prepared to face any probe to clear his and his family’s honour.
He said his son-in-law Arjun Aloysius was not a director of the controversial primary dealer Perpetual Treasuries at the time of this controversial Bonds issue going on the boards at the Bank.
“He resigned immediately after my appointment as Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. But, I was aware that all bond transactions and decisions were done through Perpetual Treasuries’ CEO and not by its directors,” he said.
He said as the Governor he had instructed the Public Debt Department to abolish the long practised, corrupt private placement procedures related to issuance of government bonds and instead introduced a more transparent and open bidding process.
“All this blame is because of this open bidding process. Corrupt primary dealers are creating all the problems,” he said.
The COPE report tabled in Parliament last Friday held Mahendran responsible for the controversial Central Bank Bonds scam.
COPE has recommended legal action against Mahendran.

Very interesting. Mahendran has done nothing wrong. He will prove showing documents. But what he has done is a day light robbery.
This man and his associates and others who aided and abetted the crime should be brought in to the justice system like US did to God father of these crooks Raj Rajaratnam.

Yes, Ranil Wickramasinghe must resign immediately. This is the honourable thing to do. The country should be run by a PM who holds the confidence of most people. This is very important. Someone else who holds the confidence of the people should be appointed the PM by President Sirisena. Besides, Arjunan Mahendran did say the PM, meaning Ranil, asked him to do it. Therefore he should resign immediately which is the honourable thing to do and let any investigations take place without any interference. In other countries, this is what happens after this type of incident. So it is not at all unique.
