The election campaign of the Joint Peoples Front (JPF), the coalition formed by Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) and other political parties of the Joint Opposition, was launched by former president and MP Mahinda Rajapaksa at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium in Colombo today. My best wishes for the victory of Joint People Front in the coming LG election and thereafter the Provincial Council, Parliamentary elections and eventually the Presidential election ( if the presidential system still keeps on going) as well!
