Troops deployed to quell violence
Posted on March 5th, 2018

Troops moved into Digana, Kandy yesterday afternoon when the police failed to bring a tense situation there under control. Police curfew was imposed in the Kandy administrative District until 6.00 am today.

Earlier the police and the STF used teargas and water cannon in a bid to disperse the protesters and arrested 24 persons. However, by 3.00 pm the situation deteriorated and the army had to be called in.

These communal violence are taking place in around the country has a definitive pattern and they are orchestrated by paid elements in connection with Tamil Diaspora. Tamil Diaspora having sympathy with LTTE or simply the Tamils who wish to have a separate state are engaging in these activities, there is no doubt about it. These spates of violent acts are normally taking place when there is a UN Human Rights conference or similar is scheduled to happen. Tamils in general have not given up and will not give up their “dream homeland” easily and they will continue to achieve it and they definitely will achieve it, as our Sinhala Buddhist idiots are running the country on daily basis.

The main obstacle is Sirisena who is doing Ass service to Minorities!

No other solution, we need 1000 lives of Minorities per every life that of Sinhelaya.

Let the UN f**k themselves, we need no UN membership.

I translated a Facebook comment published in the lankacnews.com today (March 6, 2018 9:20 am / lanka C news) by a Buddhist monk of the place who can be considered an eyewitness to the incident. It’s my feeling that if authorities act promptly and efficiently and without favouritism, such unfortunate situations can be easily prevented from emerging. This is specially for those readers who do not read Sinhala. I consider this as a form of national service. It is as follows:

Ven. Ratthanadeniye Medhananda Thera’s explanatory comments on the unrest at Teldeniya town near Kandy posted on his Facebook page:

The young Sinhalese who was beaten to death at Teldeniya worked as the driver of a delivery vehicle belonging to a private company. His job was to transport goods from the company to shops. He had secured this poorly paid job at Rs 15,000 a month, for want of a better occupation, because of his poverty. Both his parents are ill. He has a brother, but he is also not well. He looks after all these with the little money he gets from his job. Besides, he is a married man. This is the lot of many Sinhalese families.

This young man was well a behaved person who helped his neighbours including Muslims, without any racial discrimination. It is not we who say this. Muslim groups who know about him say this. Muslims themselves say that because communications facilities to and from this village are lacking, he used to transport both Sinhalese and Muslims without any discrimination. It is clear from this that he was mindful not only about his job, but about common humanity as well.

However, a couple of days back, when he reversed his vehicle after refueling at a filling station at Teldeniya, he accidentally broke a wing mirror of a three wheeler stopped behind it. There had been four or five drunk young Muslim boys in the three wheeler. Muslims say that these young men are unpopular good-for-nothing individuals even among them. The young Sinhalese had only 1000 rupees in his possession at that time. After some altercation with the Muslim youths, he gave the money to them and said “This is the only money I have”. But the young men did not relent. They had intercepted him and assaulted him mercilessly. His head was seriously wounded. He succumbed to his injuries a few hours later.

This incident gradually led to a Sinhala Muslim clash. The place is ablaze. A lot of property damage is being caused. The media do not report on this incident properly. But the harm done is greater than what is depicted in the news. A curfew was imposed because of this.

Please do not do not indulge in mutual recriminations for political advantage. The destruction caused is a reaction to some incident. Once before, a similarly serious situation was averted through the intervention of the incumbent of a Buddhist temple when some Muslim youths threw stones at a Katina pinkama (robes offering ceremony) in the Gampola area. This country burned for 30 years due to Tamil racism; it bled for 30 years. When will this (new) problem be settled before it assumes similar proportions?

Since Indian terrorist outfit was wiped out India has been dividing the Sinhalese along religious lines. These are the results of their work. People like Champika of Hela Urumaya and Nanasara of Bodu Bala Sena did the ground work for the current unrest. Unfortunately most of us fall in to their traps.
It is easy to get Sinhala Buddhists to hate Muslims like our Socialist got us to hate the local Sinhalese who had few pennies. Socialists never talked about the filthy rich Indian Parasites who run our economy since 1840 that is after the Business Registration Ordinance.
The so called Sinhala Patriots do the same thing., the best examples are Nanasaara of BBS and Champika of JHU.
We have to get rid of Sirisena.
India does not like Ranil after he sold Hambantota to China.
Indian Parasites who went to the countries in the West after 1983 do not like Ranil because he made it clear it is safe for the terrorist seeking asylum to return. Australia and Japan has started sending back these terrorists.
What we need to do is get rid of Sirisena first.

  6. Ananda-USA Says:

This Muslim – Sinhala CLASH in Theldeniya has been exploited a normal civil incident to PREXTUALLY ENGINEER & CREATE a COMMUNAL CONFLICT by those who want to DIVERT ATTENTION AWAY from the INSTABILITY of the Yamapalanaya Govt and PREVENT ITS IMPENDING FALL.

The arrival of HIGHLY ORGANIZED GROUPS from Amapara to Theldeniya to BURN Muslim Shops in retaliation for the DEATH of the Sinhala man hospitalized on Feb 22nd who died Last Sunday and the subsequent KILLING of a Muslim Youth was HIGHLY ORCHESTRATED to keep the communal fires BURNING!

It is also an ATTEMPT to ALIENATE and DRIVE the tens of thousands of Muslims who VOTED AGAINST the Yamapalanaya in the RECENT LOCAL GOVT ELECTION away from the JO/Pohottuwa.

Finally, it is an ATTEMPT to CREATE and EMERGENCY and JUSTIFY the APPOINTMENT of Sarath Fonseka as the Miniater of Law & Order, so he can SUPPRESS LEGITIMATE CIVIL PROTESTS by the JO/Pohottuwa scheduled to BEGIN with a Massive Meeting in Nugegoda on March 7, 2018.

These are the VERY SAME GOONS who created COMMUNAL CONFLICYS in 2014 to alienate minority groups, be they Christians, Muslims and Tamils away from the MR/UPFA Govt.

Ask YOURSELVES … who STANDS TO BENEFIT from this CIVIL UNREST on the EVE of the VOTE OF THE NO-CONFIDENCE VOTE against the PARA-GATHI AGA-MATHI Ranil Baba of the 40 Thieves?

The ANSWER is: Noone other than the CRIMINALS of the Yamapalanaya DESPERATE to ILLEGALLY HOLD ONTO POWER at ALL COSTS, by FAIR MEANS or FOUL!

  7. Nimal Says:

I was only in Digana last Saturday to say good bye to my friends there, never occurred that there will be a conflict there, looked peaceful.
Government must come hard on the trouble makers.
