SIRISENA MUST RESIGN!

DHARSHAN WEERASEKERA

President Maithripala Sirisena must resign immediately and make way for new Presidential elections.  It is the decent thing to do, and more importantly is in the interests of the country.  Sri Lankans must have a chance to choose a leader capable of conducting a vigorous and sustained campaign against Islamist terrorism, the new existential threat that the country is facing.

Sirisena was brought to power by a coalition of forces led by the U.S. to facilitate bringing fundamental Constitutional as well as economic changes to this country,  changes that would make the country more or less a permanent vassal of the U.S. and thereby prevent China from gaining a foothold here.  Under the Sirisena-Ranil regime that lasted from 8th January 2015 to 26th October 2018 many of those changes were made or were about to be made.

To Sirisena’s immense credit, he did not sell-out the country completely.  Had he not sacked Rani Wickremasinghe as PM on 26th October 2018 and subsequently ended the ‘National Government’ we might well be living under the ‘Urumiththa Nadu’ Constitution by now, a fate no less awful than living under an Islamic ‘caliphate.’ However, Sirisena is not the man to lead a campaign against the Islamist terrorists.

This is evident from the way he has conducted himself in the very first week after the bombings.  To the best of my knowledge, he was taken three steps: first, appoint a Commission of Inquiry which is to report within two weeks on the reasons behind the bombings and any shortcomings in the Government’s response, second, call an All-Party-Conference and third, promise that he will solve the problem, ‘as soon as possible.’

Those measures will probably help Sirisena buy time and save his neck as usual, but they do not in any way help answer the fundamental questions as to how Islamist terrorists appear to have sunk deep roots in this country, including set up extensive networks of suicide bombers, safe houses, bomb factories, etc. and most importantly what the Government’s vision, plan or policy is on how to combat this.

To digress a moment and turn to the LTTE, the previous terrorism that Sri Lanka successfully stamped out, to the best of my understanding we won the war only when we:  a) mobilized the full resources of the State for the war, in effect making it a national priority, b) stopped relying on foreign advisors and advice and instead devised our own strategies and tactics (certainly when we needed specialized equipment or training we turned to the foreigners—Pakistanis for Multi-Barrel Rocket launchers, the Chinese for tanks and assault rifles, the Americans and the Indians for intel on the LTTE’s ‘floating armories’ etc. but the strategy, tactics as well as personnel were our own—and c) put together a good team of commanders who could take the fight to the enemy.

Sri Lankans cannot afford to make the same mistakes that prolonged the fight against the LTTE for nearly thirty years.  Not only do we need a leader who can militarily crush the Islamist terrorists as swiftly as possible, but just as important and perhaps more so, find a long-term solution to ensure that the people of this country have a semblance of a common cultural and national identity rather than be a collection of separate communities thrown together.

Undoubtedly, to accomplish the above one would have to among other things make profound changes in the economic system, the educational system and the foreign policy of the country.  The educational system in particular would have to be thoroughly re-examined.  For instance, how is it that Sri Lanka can have universal free education according to national standards and curriculums but there appear to be groups of persons within this country who look and act as if they were born and bred in the tribal lands of Afghanistan or Pakistan?

So, the next President of Sri Lanka, whoever he or she turns out to be, must have the vision, skill and tact to handle these issues.  He or she must also have a fresh and undisputed mandate from the people.  Sirisena has none of these things.  However, he still has about 6 months left in his term, and six months can be crucial to how the campaign against the Islamists shapes up.

Six months is sufficient for the enemy to re-group, and also for, a) various countries to further entrench themselves in Sri Lanka under the pretext of helping fight terrorism, b) the enemy to try and assassinate our best leaders and potential leaders and thereby deprive us of their service, and c) the enemy to launch more attacks that ultimately trigger anti-Muslim riots.  In such a situation the problem will become quite intractable because the terrorists will start getting more and more recruits.

I admire Sirisena for what he did on 26th October 2018.  He has an unparalleled capacity among Sri Lankan politicians to take bold decisions—except, those decisions have so far been to save his own neck!  Now, he has to make a decision on behalf of the country and the people he claims to love.  He must go, in order that the rest of us might live.

I agree that we need a presidential election.

However, lately Sirisena has taken bold initiatives no president had the courage to do. These things must not be disrupted.

    1. House to house investigations in the East. This was long overdue and no president had the courage to do it.

    2. Banning NTJ – no president had the courage to do it. My take is the next president will lift the ban with some nonsense talk.

    3. Banning the burqa in public places where security is important. My take is the next president will lift the ban with some nonsense talk.

There are other important things Sirisena must do.

    1. Investigate who financed NTJ and punish them under the PTA, PSO and other laws. If anyone was a citizen of another country when they provided finance, that other country/countries must be involved in the investigation.

    2. Arresting terrorists is ineffective. Harsher action is needed.

The democrazy as practiced in our country is the cause for everything. The minorities have taken advantage of every leader that ruled our country from the beginning except from DS who knew from where the threat would come. Both SWRD and Dudley tried to give in but was prevented by the mahasanga.

JR gave citizenship the to upcountry tamils brought in by the British, just to get their votes for him,but now upcountry is just another state of India. Prez Premadasa changed the clause in the JR constitution allowing minority parties get their people elected in parliament even when their collective voted are less than 12% in a district. This is a fundamental violation of the rights of the majority for which a referendum should have been taken. And as a result our politicos have to dance to the likes of Bathiudeen. This is the reason why we are in this soup. This cannot be corrected now as long as the present system of democracy continues. As a permanent solution I suggest the following:

    1) Abolish the present constitution and bring back the original Westminster constitution keeping the maximum number of seats to about 120.
    2) Limit the number of ministers to about 15
    3) Keep the present status quo with regard to the population growth of certain minorities.
    4) Prevent the creation of ethnic enclaves by following the methods adopted by Singapore. That country sees to it that different ethnic groups are spread out evenly throughout the country as well as in a government housing blocks. No owner of a unit of apartment can sell to another without going through the housing authority. The government maintains the same parity when that apartment is sold.
    5) Do not allow countries where this ideology originated to make investment in SL as various groups with disruptive mindset would take advantage to destroy our country.
    6) Do not give important ministries to those who can disrupt the balance. This is done in other countries to safeguard their national intersts.

How can we do all these is the question. Perhaps this can be done by a team of intelligent people comprising both military and civilians by first promulgating a decree dissolving the parliament and bringing in the constitution that I mentioned earlier.

Most of all everybody should keep in mind that this is a Sinhala Buddhist country and not a multi ethnic one. Even our Buddhist clergy has been brainwoshed to believe it to be otherwise, just like the unwinnable war. The others who have been allowed to come here as traders and workers were allowed to stay on, because of the compassionate nature of the inhabitants.

I am open to accept criticism.

Since 1956 so many Sinhalese have died. India, Indian Parasites and India’s Sinhala terrorists are behind the killings.

1958 killings and expulsion of Sinhalese from Jaffna and North. This is the first step towards the genocide of Sinhalese.

Then comes Jeppos followed by Tamil Tigers both jobs by India.

The Easter Sunday looks like it is one off by the ISIS and associated organizations. India must have had a finger in this too. It cannot be just one in 7 chance that Taj bomb did not go off. Taj is an Indian hotel owned by TATA group. It was and is the current meeting center for the king makers our country.

What is important is the destruction and genocide of Sinhalese by India and Indian Parasites.

Indian parasite block vote was decisive in 2005 and 2015 in installing Mahinda and Sirisena respectively. 2010 was where the parasite block vote was not of any use as Sinhalese were united after the defeat of the Indian terrorist outfit the Tamil Tigers.

As soon as the country return to normal current regime should resign and go for new elections.

Before that we Sinhalese should unite and stand up to India and Indian Parasites.

To protect people Sirisena must resign together with danger man Ranil.
Actually, if Sirisena were not there forever, this disaster wouldn’t have happened.
Sirisena is 1 person. He doesn’t need bullet proof vehicles , if Cardinal Malcom Ranjith doesn’t need one.

This problem happened entirely because of him. He disrupted the Government, Army, Navy, Air force, CID, FCID , All intelligence services. He can blame Ranil but all these are under him.

  5. Ancient Sinhalaya Says:

The culprit behind all this is the traitor chief die hard catholic token Buddhist mega thief mega thakkadiya bay gal
karaya walking crime bomb (against Sinhalese Buddhists, Sri Lanka and Buddhism only) lajja nathi bxjja nathi
aga matta Batalande wa(n)dakaya Pol Pot r@ni_leech wickrama Sinhala killer and should be the one to be kicked out first.

Batalande wa(n)dakaya knew it could never win a presidential election and wanted a puppet to win it for him.
It found the ideal puppet in vairapala sorry sena and it ran the show all this time. Even when vairapala sorrysena found the guts to get rid of Batalande wa(n)dakaya, after consulting constitutional experts again and again, it went to its pre-appointed portuguese judiciary by the wa(n)dakaya of course overlooking vairapala sorryseana’s appointees and got the job back fooling the whole country. For what? To destroy the Sinhalese race, Buddhism and the country,of course, and hang on to it to die on the job so it can avoid gallows for the mass murders, mass robberies, mega treacheries, mega lies etc etc.

Soon after getting the Pathala Man (PM) job through the back door, it tried to ignite mussie riots to postpone elections and carry on for another 10/20/30 years. It didn’t take off unfortunately, and now after learning about
the imminent attacks wa(n)dakaya & co kept quiet to burn the country again. Remember Sinhala modayas, its
uncle, the traitor alugosuwa (to Sinhalese Buddhist, Sri Lanka and Buddhism only) thambi mudiyanselage jr@, turned a blind eye to catholic tigers of tamil drealam so it can carry on 10/20/30 years? And the traitors did
carry on, sacrificing 100,000+, mainly Sinhalese, saying the terras were invincible. MR came, so called invincible
terras were running for their lives.

Now its nephew traitor alugosuwa (to Sinhalese Buddhists, Sri Lanka and Buddhism only) Batalande
wa(n)dakaya must be rubbing its blood soaked with glee thinking it can carry on and die on the job. But it has a
few snags. It doesn’t have enough portuguese police top brass and portuguse deshapaluwan (only one, the
minister of erection – permanent in that calibre to be brutal enough like wa(n)dakaya) to start the
Sinhalese sacrificing (army, navy, air force, police, Buddhist monks, men, women and children) project. Other
snag is it shot itself in the foot by destroying the number one income generator, tourism, and put 100s, 1000s
out of jobs. So wa(n)dakaya going to find it hard to carry on unless it sells Sri Lanka to its foreign lackeys.
There is one more equally bad sign for the wa(n)dakaya. That’s army, navy, air force, police won’t be prepared
to lie in boxes to keep corrupt, minority worshiping, Mother Lanka dismembering, thieving, lying, traitor thugs
in their jobs to plunder the country any more and go home soon after MR gave a clean, safe country. So best bet for wa(n)dakaya is kill itself or leave the job now without hanging on to it like a leech!
