Group connected to certain political party posting insulting posts: Amaraweera

Hambantota, Jan. 25 (Daily Mirror)- A group connected to a particular political party and fake account holders have posted insulting posts on State Minister Sanath Nishantha’s tragic death, Minister Mahinda Amaraweera said.
He told reporters that they observed those who circulate such insulting posts on social media and came to know that they were being done by a group connected to a certain political party and through fake accounts.
“Lots of insulting posts about his death are shared on social media. We observed who had uploaded such posts. According to the reports, we came to know that it is mostly done by a group connected to a certain political party and through fake accounts. We never upload such insulting posts when someone dies. We are happy that we can trace such posts now whereas it was difficult earlier,” he said.
