Govt. clears Rakna Arakshaka Lanka and Avant Garde Maritime Services of any wrongdoing

The government yesterday cleared the names of Rakna Arakshaka Lanka and Avant Garde Maritime Services. Parliament was told that the setting up of the companies concerned, recruitment of personnel and the payment of taxes and other dues had been done properly.
Leader of the House Lakshman Kiriella, reading out responses to a series of questions raised by JVP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake on Rakna Arakshaka Lanka and Avant Garde Maritime Services the previous week, said that the Ministry of Defence had given permission to Rakna Arakshaka Lanka to deploy sea marshals. The organisation came under the purview of the Ministry of Defence. The organisation had recruited retired military officers. As the threat of sea pirates was increasing, the organisation had commenced deploying of sea marshals and it had done so in accordance with the provisions and standards stipulated by the International Maritime Organisation of the UN in the Circular MSC1/Circ/1443.
Rakna Arakshaka Lanka had been paying taxes due to the government regularly. It had paid more than Rs. 535 million to the government since 2011. In addition it had paid dividends to the Treasury. The amount of dividends paid by Rakna Arakshaka Lanka to the Treasury since 2011 exceeded Rs. 94 million, Minister Kiriella said.

This government is playing the Millanium City game again. Some agencies operate secretly for a purpose. I don’t think that Avengard and Rakna Lanka operations should not be discussed in publicly as they are there for a purpose. If the govt. wants to do any investigations, they have resources to do that.. Politicians are trying to gain some benifits by throwing mud at others but the damage they do to the country and it’s economy is immense. Now that Hakara Anura wants to investigate how much the previous govt spent on lobbying USA Congressmen to fight westerner’s agenda against the country. What are they trying to prove? Now the President himself talk about a billian dollar commision given by unnamed companies to an un named highr up in the previous govt. Come out with names and prosecute them. Why go for cheap publicity.

Presidential Powers have been clipped unilaterally by the President himself, like Mervnys victim tied himself onto a TREE.
IF THE PRESIDENT KNOWS WHO TOOK A BILLION DOLLARS COMMISSION, AND THE DRUG COMPANIES THAT COLLECTIVELY GAVE THAT MONEY, WHY THE ***HELL*** WONT HE HAND THE SUBJECT OVER TO THE CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION DEPARTMENT.
THE ONLY REASON THAT I THINK THE PRESIDENT IS NOT COMING OUT TO EXPOSE THE INDIVIDUAL, AND THE COMPANIES CONCERNED, IS BECAUSE HE IS NEGOTIATING A PART OF THAT, HOLDING OUT A THREAT.
IT IS TANTAMOUNT TO UNDER-WORLD KIND OF BLACK MAIL.
IT IS DAMNING EXTORTION. SHAME, THE COUNTRY’S PRESIDENT CANNOT SPEAK OPENLY, AND TRUTHFULLY.

Pa-cha has talked about this as they have discovered a big fraud in an interview with SIRASA. Yet he is called himself a Patriot. This is actually Millennium City II operation.

My3 has no backbone. He is just a fox trying to act as a lion. Yesterday I saw his speech in the Parliament regarding the National Medicine Regulatory Bill debate. He was talking about a huge money transaction taken place during the previous time saying he does not know who has got the money. Being the country’s president how can he be so helpless. He should be commanding.. and telling the CID to investigate and declare who was wrong.
The whole country looks upto him as the President.. How can such a person lead the country in a time of turmoil?

Will Run-nil become the President similar to DB after RP’s death?? If so, is there a time period for another Presidential Election??

The parliament has to decide who replaces My3. CHAMAL is very popular ACROSS all camps. SLFP, SLFP-MR, some UNP, JVP. He is currently speaker. He should put his name for president and can get MOST votes in parliament.
After that he can hold a FRESH PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION. GR should contest. NOT MR.
IF GR contests I will fully support him UNCONDITIONALLY. Then my election work will NOT restrict to social media!! And I will leave NO STONE unturned!!
