China rejects Rajitha’s claim

The Chinese embassy in Colombo today denied claims by Health Minister Dr. Rajitha Senaratne that the estimated cost of the Colombo Outer Circular Road was reduced by Rs.30 billion.
An embassy spokesperson told Daily Mirror that the news report on the Colombo Outer Circular Road cost reduction was not in line with the facts. “We have contacted the relevant Chinese contractor. It was proved that no agreement was reached between the Chinese contractor and Sri Lanka Road Development Authority on any reduction of the cost of the project. The so-called Rs. 30 billion commission being paid to the previous government was also groundless. The total contract cost by the Chinese contractor is Rs. 66.8 billion,” he said.
He said the contract cost was reasonable since the 9.5 kilometre project included a six kilometer long viaduct as well as the building of a 3.5 kilometre long embankment which he said was a low estimate compared to those quoted by other countries. The ministers and others in the present government would keep saying every kind of lies to discredit the achievements of the previous government lest the call for Mahinda Rajapakse to contest as a prime candidate in the parliament elections would grow louder and louder. They(people in the present government) would try their best to show what they are doing now is to correct the account books of the previous government, and make the former government accountable for the (alleged) losses suffered by the country, conveniently forgetting the fact, that even the current President was part of the previous government and the general secretary of the ruling party. SoI guess, that they are indirectly blackening the image of the current president in favour of Ranil and CBK.

Now we realize the stupidity of getting My3 elected. We worked HARD to get the loser elected.
At first I thought My3 is UNAWARE of the stupid things HIS ministers are doing. NAH!
He is FULLY AWARE. He is PART of it. He is the biggest crook to ENCOURAGE his crooks to steal.
But MR was unsuitable to CONTINUE as well. He should have STOPPED at 2 terms like ALL other former presidents. And handed power to GR.
Now he is taking his son DAHAM in official tours JUST LIKE MR. Foreign minister is MANGALA not DAHAM.
Now we have work HARDER to get rid of the germ we introduced.

The people of this country should understand by now that this yakapalana Govt is nothing but a shameless,bogus and corrupt Govt with big, big liars in it. Awamangalaya and Rajitha are the two dirty liars out of all of them. Rajitha is a liar,coup leader,thief and a kidnapper.He should be put in jail for all the wrong doings he has done during past years in power.
MY3 is from a gangster family and he doesn’t know anything about Governing. He too is a liar and a traitor. He left S.L.F.P. without any notice and contested against the President of that party. He said he will Govern from Pollonnaruwa. He said no more cut outs of him anywhere.Just look around and see if you have eyes. These shameless liars should be kicked out soon if not we can see a divided country pretty soon.

Interesting, I didn’t know that “කොන්ඩෙ බැඳපු චීන්නු” was an Indian saying. But I knew that it was an old Sinhala saying. And I also knew that per-colonial Chinese men had shaved frontal half of their head and had long hair in the other half.

What’s surprising is the cabinet spokesman, Rajitha made these foolish and diabolical statement in the presence of Finance and Justice ministers and they kept quite meaning they agree with him. Now, this is not the first time Rajitha has made such silly statements. If he cannot do a responsible job, he should have been stripped off that title for cabinet spokesman have to swallow his own words means, Sri Lanka President and his ministers become jokers in the eyes of the entire world. As for me, I am thoroughly ashamed to call myself a Sri Lankan while this bunch hold the rains of power.
