අගෝස්තු 17 වැනි දාට පසු රනිල් අලුත් රටක් හදන බව පුන පුනා කියයි. ඔහු මෙතෙක් තිබූ ලංකාව, සිංහළය, කුඩා කර වෙනත් රටක් තැනීමට යන බව පැහැදිලි ය. ඔහු තනන රටට වත්මන් උතුරු හා නැගෙනහිර පළාත් අයත් නොවනු ඇත. ඔබට ඒ ඊනියා අලුත් රට අවශ්‍ය නම් කළ යුතුව ඇත්තේ අලියා ඉදිරියෙන් කතිරය ගැසීම ය. මේ රට මෙසේ ම පවත්වාගෙන යෑමට අවභ්‍ය නම් කළ යුත්තේ බුළත් කොළය ඉදිරියෙන් කතිරය ගසා මහින්ද සමග දිගින් දිගට ම සිටීවි යැයි බලාපොරොත්තුවන අපේක්‍ෂකයන්ට මනාප ලකුණු කිරීම ය.
රනිල් හා දෙමළ ජාතික සංධානය අතර යම් එකඟත්වයක් ඇත. දෙමළ ජාතික සංධානය ඉදිරිපත් කර ඇති මැතිවරණ ප්‍රකාශය පසුගිය ලිපියෙහි සඳහන් කළ පරිදි වලංගු නැත. 2009 මැයි 18 වැනි දා නන්දිකඩාල් කලපුවේ දී මෙරට භූගෝලය, ඉතිහාසය හා දේශපාලනය තීරණය කෙරිණි. රට තවදුරටත් ඒකීය රටක් වෙයි. රණවිරුවන් දිවි පරදුවට තබා කටයුතු කෙළේ නාමික ව ඒකීය රටක් වූ ලංකාව ප්‍රායෝගිකව ද ඒකීය රටක් බවට පත්කිරීමට ය. එය දැන් වෙනස් කළ හැකි නො වේ. රනිල් සූදානම් වන්නේ රණවිරුවන් පාවා දෙමින් දෙමළ ජාතික සංධානයේ මැතිවරණ ප්‍රකාශයට නැති වලංගු බවක් ලබා දීමට ය.
හමුදා මෙහෙයුම් (යුද්ධ) ද දේශපාලන ක්‍රියාදාම වෙයි. යුද්ධය යනු දේශපාලනය සිවිල් නොවන ක්‍රමයකින් ඉදිරියට ගෙන යෑම ය. හමුදා මෙහෙයුම් ඉල්ලා සිටිනු ලැබුයේ දෙමළ ත්‍රස්තවාදය විසිනි. 1833 සිට දෙමළ ජාතිවාදය ඉල්ලූ සියල්ල කූටප්‍රාප්ත වූයේ දෙමළ ත්‍රස්තවාදය සමග ය. බටහිරයන්ගේ ද ඉන්දීයයන්ගේ ද ආධාරයෙන් හා අනුග්‍රහයෙන් සිවිල් ක්‍රමවලින් දිනා ගැනීමට බැරි වූ ඉල්ලීම් ඊනියා යුද්ධයෙන් දිනා ගැනීමට කොටි ආයුධ අතට ගත්හ. ඒ ඉල්ලීම්වල එතෙක් කර තිබූ සියලු ඉල්ලීම් අඩංගු විය.නන්දිකඩාල් කලපුවේ දී ඒ සියලු ඉල්ලීම් පරාජයට පත්විය.
2005 දී ලංකාව නාමික වශයෙන් නොවූව ද ප්‍රායෝගික ව බෙදී තිබුණි. 2009 දී ඒ ප්‍රායෝගික බෙදීම හමුදා මෙහෙයුම්වලින් අවසන් විය. අද කිසිවකුටවත් 2005 ට හෝ 1983 ට හෝ ආපසු යෑමට යෝජනා කළ නො හැකි ය. අද අප පටන් ගත යුත්තේ 2009 මැයි 19 වැනි දා නැවතුණු තැනින් ය. අද වන විට දහතුන වලංගු වන්නේ ඒ මෙතෙක් ක්‍රියාත්මක වන පමණට ය. ඉඩම් බලතල, පොලිස් බලතල විමධ්‍යගත කිරීමක් ගැන කතා කිරීමටවත් දෙයක් නැත.
2009 මැයි 18/19 මෙරට දේශපාලන සිතියම වෙනස් විය. ඒ ආපසු හැරවීමට කතාකරන්නා දේශපාලනයෙහි හමුදා ක්‍රියාමාර්ග ගැන නො දනියි. ඊනියා දෙවැනි ලෝක යුද්ධයෙන් පසු ලෝක සිතියම වෙනස් විය. නැගෙනහිර යුරෝපයෙහි නව රාජ්‍ය පැන නැගිණි. යමකු ඒ අවස්ථාවෙහි දී යුරෝපය 1938 දී තිබූ තැනට ආපසු යා යුතු යැයි කීවේ නම් ස්ටැලින් කුමක් කිරීමට ඉඩ තිබිණි ද?
දෙමළ ජාතිවාදීන්ට අද 1983ට ආපසු යෑමට යෝජනා කළ නො හැකි ය. එවැනි යෝජනාවකට එකඟ වනු ඇත්තේ රනිල් වැනි නිවටයකු පමණ ය. ඔහු අලුත් රටක් හදන්නේ දෙමළ ජාතිවාදීන්ගේ ඉල්ලීම්වලට යටවීමෙනි. 2009 දී අප දිනාගත් රට රැක ගත හැක්කේ රනිල්ගේ ඊනියා අලුත් රට පරාජය කිරීමෙන් පමණකි. අගොස්තු 17 වැනි දා අප කළ යුත්තේ 2009 මැයි ජයග්‍රහණය තහවුරු කිරීම ය.

Nalin I do hope the brains like you in the inner circle of MR camp is working overtime to counter attack the opposition rather than talking about RW etc now.There are enough material to shout loud from the roof top eg Ravi K’s gangster killing, CB bond, Senasinghe’s U turn at the courts & now he himself blaming loud Yahapalanaya, India’s proposal to bridge SL which is RW’s idea, etc etc. etc. Are they been given the widest publicity at the rallies & social media?
There is only a couple of weeks & rather than been over confident, hope you all will not make the same blunder as in Jan.
If no,t you too will have to take the blame not taking care of everything, sorry to say.

There is ONE, AND ONLY ONE “solution” to the problem of Indian fishermen fishing in Sri Lankan waters … and that is FOR INDIA to ENFORCE ITS INTERNATIONAL MARITIME OBLIGATIONS by PREVENTING its fishermen from crossing into and fishing in Sri Lankan waters, just as Sri Lanka does with respect to HER OWN fishermen!
Why is that such an ABSTRUSE, COMPLEX, and DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND concept we need to DISCUSS interminably? Forget the SELF-SERVING local Indian politics in DRavida-Nadu, and ENFORCE the INTERNATIONAL MARITIME LAW!
India MUST STOP BULLYING Sri Lanka into allowing its Fishermen to POACH in Sri Lankan waters FOR WHATEVER REASON!
If India has DENUDED its OWN WATER of Fish by HABITUAL OVERFISHING … that is India’s Prerogative and Right to do so.
However, having DEPLETED its own Fish Resource by overfishing, India has no right to DEPLETE Sri Lanka’s fisheries!
Sri Lanka … is ENFORCING its own Fishing Rights to protect the livlihood of its own citizens by using the Sri Lanka Navy, and the Coast Guard to ARREST, PROSECUTE and PUNISH the violaters, and CONFISCATE their BOATS and FISHING GEAR as the MOST EFFECTIVE DETERRENCE against the boat owners who deploy the boats and PROFIT from the ILLEGAL FISHING!
All these “DISCUSSIONS” with Sri Lanka are geared to EXTRACTING CONCESSIONS from Sri Lanka to GIVE UP ITS FISH RESOURCES in part or as a whole! DON’T DO IT!
Please tell India that THERE IS NOTHING TO TALK ABOUT, and ask hem to ENFORCE THE LAW and CONTROL their own fisherman in their OWN country! SHORT, SWEET & EFFECTIVE!

Indian government to find a solution to fishermen issue with Sri Lanka
Aug 06, New Delhi: The central Indian government Wednesday informed parliament that it is working towards evolving a permanent solution for Tamil fishermen issue and that the External Affairs Ministry is engaged in discussions with Sri Lanka.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu has described the fishermen issue as a serious and recurring one and Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj is taking necessary interest and engaged in discussions with Sri Lanka from time to time.
Minister Naidu made this assurance after the AIADMK’s P Venugopal raised the issue of frequent attacks on Tamil Fishermen by Sri Lankan Navy, New Indian Express reported.
“Over the years and months, these attacks have become very frequent and severe. From capture, detention and harassment of our fishermen, now a state has come when they are shot at sight. It is criminal, inhuman and unjustified action by Sri Lanka,” Venugopal said in Lok Sabha. He also slammed the Centre for not condemning the statement of Sri Lankan Prime Minister against Tamil fishermen. Venugopal said despite raising this issue on several occasions in the House, no concrete action had been taken by the government.
