   I am happy to see new patriotic faces in the Sri Lankan parliament. It is high time, our MPs put breaks to the comedy clan lead by Ranil.

   it is encouraging to see that there are young politicians coming forward to protect Mother Lanka.

   It is high time MR get all these honest young blood and form a new party.. By protecting SLFP he is protecting all those corrupted fat and dirty politicians. If all the good one’s join the new party, SLFP will be left with all these opportunists who never thought of their mother land and they were all rejected by the electorates… for example Nimal Siripala, SB…..

   I read that Govindu Kumarathunga was promoting this new party. MR is making the same mistake what he did by ignoring the reality. If he delays further all these patriotic MP’s will give up and just be MP’s who will raise their hand for anything.

   What is more important, Mother Lanka or SLFP??

   SLFP = UNP when MR and his close associates left.

   Those who got carried away to “Hora” Hora” slogan will drop it and join the new party as all the “Hora”s are with SLFP.
   By protecting SLFP, MR is protecting them…

   Is it what expected from such a great leader, or anything grand than that??

   Hiranthe,

   MR is a SEASONED politician. When it comes to POLITICS he KNOWS what to do.

   SLFP is not that bad. Its ONLY problem is MARU SIRA. CBK can be handled IF Maru Sira is not there.

   IF Maru Sira is OUT, SLFP is as good as it was before 2015. One good quality of MR is he never RUSHES. He takes time and WAIT like a hunter who wait till its prey falls into the trap. TIME is on his side.

   Suppose he forms a new party today. Can it TOPPLE the govt. of crooks? No.

   The way the govt. donkeys are fighting they will soon eliminate one another. Like Lalith-Premathasan. Then MR can walk up to SLFP and take over the party AND TOPPLE the govt. SLFP CAN topple this govt.

   MR should also operate UNDER THE RADAR by staying in the SLFP.

   IF Maru Sira comes to know MR is going to form his own party and bust his crooked MPs’ opportunities, Maru Sira will go after MR.

   UNP toppled CBK-MR govt. in December 2001. MR toppled the UNP govt. in April 2004.

   IF the same timeframe applies, UNP govt. will be toppled on 05 MAY 2017.

   Every passing day this MULE GOVT. (a HYBRID CROSSBREED OF A HORSE AND A DONKEY) is getting UNPOPULAR. Everyday MR’s VOTE BANK increases. He has to wait till it reaches more than 50% to contest a parliamentary election and win.

   So MR has all the time in the world.

   Lorenzo,

   I agree with you on MR and his patience. He won with patience against Prabakaran.

   But SLFP is not only Maru Sira and Bandit Queen. There are about 50 hard core crooks and opportunists you have to get rid of including the new party Secretary who use bad mouth against MR. Such ungrateful bunch of traitors.. They will easily enjoy the same thing under MR government too..

   One good thing you have mentioned is that MR should operate under the radar by staying with SLFP.

   I certainly agree with that…. at least for another 1 or 1.5 years..

   It is good for the Geneva battle.
