BLINDFOLD FEDERALISM DEMAND AND ROOT CAUSE OF INDIAN – US STRATEGY TO DECEIVE SRILANKA Part III

Parochial Political Panorama
As a third world country, we are superficial, and, lack in lateral thoughts and strategic vision. Most of the politicians are focused in selfish and self-centered matters only. Number of our politicians who are patriotic, and shoulder loyalty to the citizens of SriLanka, is questionable? We lost our great patriotic leaders such as, DS Senanayaka, Dudley Senanayaka and Madam Srimavo Bandaranaike. They were focused on Structural Transformation. Micro and macroeconomics were their strong focus. Even with SJV Chelvanayagam’s swag of anti-governmental activities these great leaders were able to transform SriLankan economy and make people to grow food in their backyards.
Next, the living legends: Mahinda Rajapaksa and Gotabaya Rajapaksa spent their time in shaping SL into a sustainable economy, under heavy western and Indian opposition. The two living legends were able to liquidate 39 years of terrorism, and rehabilitate thousands and thousands of LTTE cadre. They were able to transform SL into a technologically competing country, stepping foot onto a progressive inclining ladder. However, people who like short term benefits did not understand to appreciate their patriotic, nationalistic, and strategic vision.
However, the current self-declared good governance is pragmatic to be focused in one aspect of political activity, which is punitive, retributive charge. It is clear that they want to eliminate popular intellectual patriotic, nationalistic opposition. Although it is clearly seen as a punitive act, one could clearly see that the government is portraying as if they are maintaining justice, law and order, where the act by the government is clearly seen as partial. Can any of the current governing politicians who claim others are corrupt, declare that they are honest?
Strategy of the Powers (Superpowers)
How could a power make a smaller country become submissive and slave to them?
- Historical technique of invasion and conquer.
- Mid-modern technique of neo-colonialism.
- Modern techniques of drive a country to self-destruction, political chaos and economic collapse.
The first two path have become known in the late 20th and 21st century.
SriLanka may have been chosen for the third method by instigating JVP in 1971, because SL was to become a republic in 1972, and also LTTE to self-destruct SriLankan economy. The initiation of both activities reflect the intent of the power. It may also be possible that SJVC may have been indoctrinated and intoxicated in 1948, after independence to initiate the federalism agenda. All of these may have been strategies for economic self-destruction over ‘ ’ number of years. SJVC Federalism demand in 1949, JVP insurrection in 1971, Vaddukoddai Resolution, and LTTE transformation in 1976 are clear indication of western influence over SL for self-destruction. What was the reason for disfranchising Madam Srimavo Bandaranaike? Was it because madam was aligned to the East? Patriotic SriLankans and politicians should dig deep, and do an analysis to unravel the truths of events in SL.
Just select countries that were colonies of the British. E.g. Nigeria-British favoured the minority Ibos and gave them all the facilities. Motive: Iboland had oil reserves. Subsequently Ibos fought a war against the majority and were defeated. When Obasanjo supported the British, the British gave weapons to the government to defeat the Ibos. The Ibos and the Nigerians were cleaver enough to understand the turmoil onto which they were driven. They settled their differences. Take for instance Zimbabwe: The British favoured the minorities Ndebele. Shona were the majority. Everywhere the British ruled, they favoured the minority and left the countries leaving a dormant chaotic problem. This goes to SL also where Tamils were favoured. The rest is self-explanatory. If any of the British colony wants to become a republic now, then a war will self-inflict the country to economic collapse. Need say no more.
Every one of us is aware that superpowers were involved during the war on terror in SL. The SL military should know that these western powers were directing them during the war and some countries were in direct contact with the GOSL.
- The first strategy is to nurse, and eradicate LTTE and eliminate all leaders.
- Implicate SL military on war crimes and create a chaotic political and social situation.
- Prepare strategy to remove the then president, and plant one of their own puppet as the powerful head.
- Continue to promote Tamil’s secession and some banana theories.
- Drive SriLanka to self-destruct on economy.
- Make SL to bargain a collateral for an American base.
- Once in, the US will reinforce the base and demarcate the area, and slowly encroach into other areas.
- Tamil’s cry on cultural and other mushroom identity will collapse. Same goes to the Sinhalese. Finally the SriLankan government ends up mortgaging the country to the US for a collateral, which definitely will be for a naval base.
- Trincomalee or any other area, which will be mortgaged will become the US Naval Base Club for their (US Navy staff) pleasure, and their defense strategy against other major powers. We become the mushroom.
- Every country US was involved in over the past ‘ years, had their base established.
It is only some patriotic politicians, who had the perception and the intelligence to live within a self-governing republic, understood the conspiracy theories and the strategy of the west. They planned their activities, however, the current GOSL does not live up to that standard. Most of current governing politicians pretend to be dumb enough to mortgage SL to the west. Can these politicians live and sleep in peace?
SriLankans, let us get up from sleep and tell GOSL of their risk to our sovereignty.

As I always keep saying, the greatest leader Sri Lanka has seen after independence is Mahinda Rajapakse, whose ten years of presidency not only saved the whole country from the thereat of terrorism, but also caused in massive infrastructure development throughout the country. People as well as the political leaders are free to move anywhere in the country without any fear, and even the Tamil politicians are now enjoying their freedom of speech as they no longer have to face the threat from the LTTE.
The Western countries did not like the way Mahinda stood up against their dictate and Indian did not like him for moving close to China fearing they might be loosing their hold on Sri Lanka. The self fish, power hungry politicians like Ranil and Brutus like Sirisena cheated the people of the country with the connivance of the Western powers. Unless the common people awake and act decisively in future, the country will go to rotten used by foreign powers and India. We have already seen what kind of corrupt politicians rule the country of India.

Agree with Vyasan and FranDiaz that it was MR and GR who together forged a path for the country that all its citizens could abide by, if the latter had the patience and the vision to see what the trajectory was that was being followed. It is the ILL LUCK of the nation that we are today stuck in a rut of vengeance and hate that seems to be growing instead of fizzling out in the glut of failures and vengeful houndings that continue to be experienced, and which fill the newsprint everyday.

According to at least 15 families of my close relatives who were caught up in the war zone, during the final stage of war, the deaths and destruction were the result of the foolishness and arrogance of the LTTE who gave no consideration of the human lives trapped there by them, as human shield, not the that the LTTE were providing protection for the the people. That was also a (cruel) lesson for the Tamils who blindly supported the LTTE at some point of time well before the mulli Vaikkal incident. But, by the time the people came to see the real face of the LTTE, it was too late, and there was no way to escape (from the LTTE) It was undoubtedly due to the courageous stand of two Rajapaksas that the people finally got freed from the clutches of the LTTE and now live without the fear of losing their young sons and daughters and able to move freely throughout the country.

In my own opinion, either a federal set up or a semi federal set up just like in India would be irrelevant to a country of the size of Sri Lanka. That kind of set up will eventually lead to unwarranted interference by foreign powers on the pretext of providing aid and other assistance to such would be states, or provinces. People on both sides should learn to reject the politicians who try to create ethnic enmity between the people. People should elect the leaders who love the country and strive to develop the nation in every way possible.

Sri Lanka’s Northern PC passes bill to merge North and East into a federal unit

Apr 23, Jaffna: Sri Lanka’s main Tamil party Tamil National Alliance (TNA) – controlled Northern Provincial Council (NPC) has passed a bill on Friday calling for Sri Lanka’s new constitution to allow merging the North and East into one federal, Tamil speaking unit.
Chief Minister C.V. Wigneswaran presented the resolution to the NPC on Friday and it was passed by a majority vote.
The resolution seeking a federal solution to the issue of political independence for the minority Tamil community calls for the government to include in the new constitution a merger of the Northern and Eastern provinces into one ruling system and establishing it under a federal system.
Merging the North and East has been a long-pending demand of the TNA and party has formulated the bill based on the views and suggestions of the people in all districts of the Northern Province.

830 million people living in a swathe of states spanning India from the South West to the North East suffering under a Communist Naxalite rebellion in which the Government holds sway only in cities, and loses control of even that to the insurgents during the night?
Furthermore, Jammu and Kashmir under military rule in the West, and a handful of North Eastern states like Assam and Nagaland in the North East demanding secession or under insurgent attack?
Millions of Dalits, reportedly 1/3 of India’s population, still illiterate and dispossed of even the most basic of human rights? Have you not heard of the killing by high caste folks of Dalits to deny access to Ambedkar University in Chennai founded by Ambedkar himself??
A nation in which women dare not dream of equal rights and opportunities they have enjoyed in Sri Lanka for decades, with literacy and healthcare far below Sri Lanka?
A Federal Government that is so weak in its power to ENFORCE NATIONAL LAWS, that it cannot implement international agreements between India and its neighbors, like the agreement with Bangladesh to limit the influx of refugee settlers into India from Bangladesh? That agreement was scuttled by India’s state politicians like Mamata Banerjee.
I can go on and on, ad infinitum, ad nauseam, on the FAILURES of India’s Federal System to insure security and prosperity for ALL of India’s long suffering people.
Therefore, PRAY TELL ME AGAIN …. why do you extol and recommend India’s Federal System of Governance to Sri Lanka? Are their cogent and compelling reasons BEYOND your need to EMPOWER Tamils above all other people of Sri Lanka?
PLEASE do respond with TRUE facts and figures supporting India’s astounding success in uplifting its people!

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister to take ‘continuous steps’ to attain a separate state for Tamils in Sri Lanka

Apr 24, Tiruchirappalli: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and AIADMK party leader has asserted that her party would take “continuous steps” to attain a separate Eelam for Tamils in Sri Lanka so that they can live with full freedom and self-respect.
Addressing election rally in Tiruchi, the Chief Minister demanded that the central Indian government grant dual citizenship for Sri Lankan Tamil refugees living in her state, PTI reported.
“We will urge the central government to confer dual citizenship on Sri Lankan Tamils living here so that they can easily get job opportunities,” she said.
Jayalalithaa said she has been continuously demanding an independent, international probe over war crimes and alleged genocide against Tamils in Sri Lanka.
Attacking her arch rival DMK party, led by Karunanidhi, over the Sri Lankan Tamils issue, she alleged that DMK and Congress were together responsible for the destruction of Sri Lankan Tamils.
Noting that Sri Lankan Tamils have for long been living in and outside camps in Tamil Nadu, she said her regime was giving them all facilities. She added that her government opposed the central government when they tried to repatriate people who were born to refugees and raised in the state.
She stressed that her party’s policy was that any repatriation should be voluntary and based on the choice of refugees “after the situation in Sri Lanka, including security aspects changes fully, (for the better)”.
Jayalalithaa accused rival DMK of staging “dramas” over the Tamil issue against their interests and said the DMK chief Karunanidhi, betrayed Tamils not only in Tamil Nadu but also in Sri Lanka.
She recalled that the Tamil Nadu Assembly had passed several resolutions on the Sri Lankan issue moved by her. Some of these included her demand for economic sanctions against Sri Lanka, an international probe against ‘war crimes’ and another related to a referendum (that she wanted to be sponsored by India in the UN forum) among Tamils on the question of a separate Eelam (Tamil homeland).

You seem to have a STRANGELY SELECTIVE MEMORY of deadly events in India, and India’s CULPABILITY for the deaths that occurred in Sri Lanka!
Is this an indication of EARLY ONSET Alzheimers disease? I am beginning to be concerned about your memory lapses!
But, I am generous to a fault, so Let me refresh your memory:
1. Ever hear of the thpusands who died in the Indo-Pakistan and Indo-China border wars?
2. Ever hear of the millions who died in the RELIGIOUS CONFLICTS between Muslims and Hindus during the partition of India?
3. Have you not heard of the Deaths of Muslims and Hindus in the communal violence incited by the Ayodhya temple/mosque dispute? Entire trains of people were butchered in Gujarat!
4. Ever heard of the CONTINUING communal warfare between native people and settlers in the Tribal Areas of Nagaland, Assam, the NWPFA etc?
5. Please do some RESEARCH on the Naxalite violence deemed India’s No. 1 SEcurity Problem by Man Mohan Singh! Lots of people are dying even as we speak!
6. Let us not forget the caste-relatedviolence and deaths in the attacks on Hindu Dalits all over India?
7. Last, but not the least, India must be HELD RESPONSIBLE for the deaths of 150,000 Sinhalese and Tamils in the separatist terrorism they engineered and fostered in Sri Lanka. They initiated, trained, armed, funded and delivered terrorists into Sri Lanka, protected them everytime the armed forces of the country was poised to eliminate them thus EXTENDING THE CONFLICT and causing more people to DIE!
But that does not seem to be ENOUGH for these BLOODTHIRSTY Indians; now they are coming back to stirring the witches cauldron once again, encouraging and fostering separatism with a view to GRADUALLY ANNEX the whole of Sri Lanka. YES, it does appear that the Indians will sow MORE BLOODSHED in Sri Lanka before they are FINALLY DECLARED PERSONA NON-GRATA ad the DOOR IS SLAMMED SHUT in their FACE!
