My simple clarification of the mind boggling constitution is as follows:
If I have the power to hire the bastard, and when the bastard playing pugs I have the power to fire the bastard. Simple as that. Forget the mind boggling constitution.
A retired supreme court judge told me once that he could have given the judgement order in my arbitration case whichever the way he could have liked.
When Sumathipala got his release from the remand and case thrown out of court on a hearing on a poya day do I have to say any more?

President Maithripala Sirisena SHOULD NOT ACCEPT Ranil Wikunanasinghe as the PM, IRRESPECTIVE of whether HE HAS or HAS NOT a MAJORITY of MPs in a Parliament ELECTED 3 1/2 years ago!
Those MPs elected 3 1/2 years ago DO NOT HAVE the SUPPORT of the VOTING CITIZENS NOW, and CANNOT GET ELECTED NOW. They DO NOT REPRESENT the VOTERS NOW!
If the Yamapalanaya had allowed Local & Provincial Govt ELECTIONS to be held ON TIME, they would KNOW THAT by NOW.
By NOT HOLDING ELECTIONS ON TIME in SIX PROVINCES, now WITHOUT ELECTED PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENTS, they DENIED DEMOCRACY to the VOTING CITIZENS of Sri Lanka.
They are RANK HYPOCRITES when they WAIL & MOURN about the VIOLATION OF THEIR DEMOCRATIC RIGHTS in Parliament NOW trying to regain the STRANGLEHOLD they IMPOSED on a GULLIBLE PUBLIC through DEVIOUS MANIPULATION of the CONSTITUTION!
The Yamapalanaya Govt was ELECTED to MANAGE the country on PATRIOTIC PRINCIPLES, a TASK they MISMANAGED BIG TIME.
They HAVE NOW BEEN FIRED for DUE CAUSE for GROSS INCOMPETENCE, GROSS CRIMINALITY & GROSS TREACHERY!
THE DECISION to FIRE the Yamapalanaya is OVERWHELMINGLY SUPPORTED by the VOTING PUBLIC!
THEY SHOULD LEAVE NOW & RUN FOR THEIR LIVES before WORSE THINGS BEFALL THEM at the hands of an IRATE PUBLIC!
The VOTERS have only so much PATIENCE; the Yamapalanaya should not TEST THEIR WRATH!
The PRESIDENT SHOULD NOT BUDGE AN INCH from HIS DECISION to FIRE the INCOMPETENTS, TRAITORS & BIG TIME CROOKS, no matter what our Foreign & Separatist ENEMIES try do do!
DECLARE MARTIAL LAW; SHUT DOWN THE PARLIAMENT; HOLD PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS ASAP & ALLOW the VOTERS to EXPRESS their WISHES & ELECT a PATRIOTIC EFFECTIVE GOVERNMENT!
TO HELL with the SUPREME COURT & OUR FOREIGN & SEPARATIST ENEMIES; National Integrity, Prosperity and the Citizens Welfare are FAR MORE IMPORTANT!
