MALWATTE MAHANAYAKE BATTING FOR ANTI-SRI LANKAN TEAM

Malwatte Mahanayake Ven Thibbatuwawe Sri Siddhartha Sumangala Thero is a disgrace for the buddhists clergy in Sri Lanka. Most buddhists refrain from criticising buddhist monks due to respect for the religion. But there is obviously a limit to which the buddhists in Sri Lanka can continue to tolerate the partial attitude of these monks, whether they are in Kandy or near Jubilee Post at Pitakotte, who are directly supporting the anti Sri Lankan elements in the political fray.
We still remember Talduwe Somarama Thero who assassinated the late Prime Minister of Sri Lanka Mr S W R D Bandaranaike. The Chief Prelate of Kelaniya Raja Maha Vihara at that time Mapitigama Buddharakkita Thero was found guilty with Somarama and few other for the assassination of the Great Prime Minister of Sri Lanka.
Somarama and Buddharakkitha conspired and physically murdered the former Prime Minister. But today there are Buddhist Monks who are determined to kill the political lives of President Mahinda Rajapakse and Mr Gotabhaya Rajapakse, the men who have championed the freedom for Sri Lankans by ending 30 years of cruel war. During the period of War, these Maha Nayaka’s behaved very similar to United Nations and Western Imperialists. Most of the Malwatte Maha Nayake’s have been conducting their affiars not for the sake of enhancing Buddhism, but to promote their glory, luxury and accumulation of wealth. Vast amounts of money collected at these temples are never distributed to poor people. Most Catholic Churches spend their funds amongst poor familes, to buy school books, shoes, uniforms and even provide break-fast every morning.
In contrast to Malwatte and few isolated Buddhist Temples in Sri Lanka, the vast majority of Chief Incumbents and the Dayaka Sabhas have been the guinea pigs ” to bring back Mahinda Rajapakse”. The President Rajapakse is contesting the election at the request of progressive Buddhist Clergy and the masses who have inundated his family home at Medamulana, pleading with him to save the country, religion and the nation as a whole. To whom the Great Mahinda Rajapakse should listen? To Malwatte Maha Nayake, Kotte Maha Nayake or to millions of men and women and thousands of progressive Buddhist Monks of Sri Lanka?
We remember the extent to which Buddhists reacted against the Buddhist monks after the assassination of Mr Bandaranaike. For several months, the buddhists refrained from offering Dana for the monks islandwide.
After the conclusion of the General Election, some of the Buddhist Monks sitting in ivory towers ought to be deprived of respect in every possible way. These Buddhist Monks are playing an extremely dangerous game, as they realize the return of Mr Rajapakse as the Leader and Executive Prime Minister of Sri Lanka is unstoppable. They have under-estimated the “swing and the power of people” and will face consequences.
Malwatte Maha Nayake has advised Mr Gotabaya Rajapakse to refrain from taking part in politics. The same Maha Nayaka has asked President Mahinda Rajapakse to retire from politics. Neither Mr Gotabaha nor Mr Mahinda Rajapakse made any crtiticisms of Maha Nayakes for these outbursts.
They have ignored the Maha Nayake’s requests. The entire country will ignore the Malwatte Maha Nayake’s on 17 August.

Malwatte Mahanayake Ven Thibbatuwawe Sri Siddhartha Sumangala Thero reminds me of Mapitigama Buddharakkhitha Thero,Chief Incumbent High Priest of the Kelaniya Raja Maha Vihara and the prime conspirator in the 1959 assassination of then prime minister S.W.R.D.Bandaranake. Mapitigama Buddharakkhitha ultimately became a converted Christian.

This mahana-yaka supposed to be the guardian of Buddhism in Sri Lanka. But he supports catholic traitor chief who
is going to divide Sri Lanka after 17th. Does he know who saved his backside from any more bombs in Dalada Maligawa. Was it his catholic traitor buddy ponil w?
Does he know his traitor chief with his catholic buddies john, joesph michael, ernest perera, douglas peris, etc. etc. killed so many Buddhist youths on the pretext of putting down Jaathiya Vinashakari Party (JVP) insurgency. They were mercilessly got rid of 1000s and 1000s of Buddhist youth. But didn’t want to kill any terrorists because they were not Buddhists.
Does he have a brain at least the size of a thibotuwak? Or does he have a brain at all? Does he know the UNPatirotic party (UNP) job in Sri Lanka is to eradicate Buddhism and make it a catholic country. That’s west and the church’s order. Does he live on this planet? Change your stance or at least keep your mouth shut!
Monks should chose a Sinhalese for this very important post next time! Do you know how much damage you do to Buddhism and Sri Lanka? Shame on you mahana yaka!

I’ll remind you again that as a Buddhist we respect the Maha Sangha not the person. If certain aspects of their activities are not in keeping to your liking, it is best to work for the victory of MR rather than trying to start a mud slinging campaign against Maha Sangha. Have you been blinded to the activities & campaigns by other religious leaders much more detrimental to the very existence of our country. I do not think Buddhist are swayed by the views by these chapters against the trend by Christians & muslims who follow their religious leaders. On the other hand, do not forget MR is not whiter than white, his sons irked the Mahanayakes with night racings and there may be other things we don’t know which angered the prelates. However the point is at this critical juncture, direct all your energy & force to bring about a win to MR but not to irritate Buddhists unless you are a non Buddhists,then I can understand your issue.

Malwatte Chief priest has said that allegations by Opposition against UNP baseless. How can he say that when Vijayakala Mahendran who is a UNP candidate is showing the map of Sri Lanka with the North and East separated as part of her election campaign. I suspected this from a while ago.
Their stand on America changed dramatically from the day Michelle Sisson graced them with her charming presence in this holy premises.
They are disgrace to the Maha Sanga. I suspect that they were upto some mischievous thing and now there could be some black mail going on. How to find out for sure??

Agree with charithsls. PLEASE don’t create further rifts. MOST SL Buddhists don’t like insulting CHIEF PRELATES no matter what. I know we have to call a spade a spade BUT in politics you have to do what brings in MOST VOTES.
This is a UNP TRAP. They get the CHIEF PRELATE to do politics for UNP. IF the MR camp responds to it, they will say MR camp insults and threatens chief prelates!!! Don’t fall into this trap. Just ignore them for 12 days.
IF I were Namal I would have immediately gone on bended knees to chief prelates at least after night races and BEGGED to be forgiven and suffer an earful of blasting (or even a slapping) in all humbleness. The SCHOOL BY THE SEA doesn’t teach these things! Here is a story I heard at the Vajirarama temple.
King Dutugemunui was a DEVOTED Buddhist. He gave special treats (“thaanam”) to monks at the temple. But the monks COMPLAINED the food didn’t have enough spices. An idiot would have blamed the monks for asking too much. But the WISE king APOLOGISED and to compensate built a whole new temple for the monks called MIRISAWATIYA – temple of spices. What a great leader! A great politician.

MAKE NO MISTAKE … If the UNP wins, the ABOVE SCENARIO of DIVISION of Sri Lanka into a PATCHWORK of Ethno-Religious Bantustans will be INEVITABLE within the FIRST TERM of government by the UNPatriotic Party!

Malwatte was over the moon when Mahinda won the war and paid glorious tributes.It was when the foul mouth field marshal upset the apple cart and Mahinda had jail him things turned sour,that too because that ‘hival’ karu pumped him from behind to start a campaign to save SF but Mahinda heard none of it. Then it was Karu who urged him to punish Mahinda and to gather 5000 monks to Kandy to pronounce a ‘sangha angna’ against Mahinda. Lukily it didn’t happen and this silly ‘maha nayake’ would been exposed then had it happened.
This monk may have been appointed mahanayake for his seniority but unlike him his deputy is a very knowledgeable and a wise monk.

මේ 1977 සිට මේ දක්වා එජාපයේ යහපාලන ඉතිහාසයෙන් බිඳකි! ඉදිරියට රට ෆෙඩරල් කර ඊලම ලබා දීමත් සීපා හරහා රට ඉන්දියාවට සින්න කිරීමත් ඊට අයත්ය! බලයට පත් වන සෑම අවස්ථාවකම ප්රචණ්ඩත්වය හා ත්රස්තවාදය පැතිරවීම එජාපයේ ස්වරූපයයි ! ලංකාවේ මනුෂ්ය ඝාතන වැඩියෙන්ම සිදු වුයේ එජාප පාලන සමයේදී වීමෙන් ඒ බව පැහැදිලි වේ !ජාතීන් බේද බින්න කිරීමද , මහා ජාතිය පරදා සුළු ජාතීන් ඉහලට එසවීමද ඊට අයත්ය ! වතු කම්කරුවන්ට දක්වන කරුණාව තමන්ගේම සිංහල චන්ද දායකයන්ට නොදැක්වීමෙන් ඒ බව පැහැදිලි වේ! එයට හේතුව UNP යනු බටහිර ඔත්තු සේවා මගින් මෙහෙයවෙන බ්රිතාන්ය රජයේ ඍජු නියෝජනය වීමයි ! එජාපය අදද මෙහෙයවන්නේ බටහිර ඔත්තු සේවා මගිනි. ඒ බව රනිල්ම පවසා ඇත! (ඇමෙරිකා පුහුණුව) දැන්ද ඊනියා නිරීක්ෂකයන් (ඔත්තුකරුවන්) මෙරටට පැමිණ ඇත. මොවුන් කරන ඊනියා නිරීක්ෂණයක් නැත. ලිබියාවට, ඉරාකයට ගෙනා යහපාලනය, මෙරටට ගෙන ඒම අරමුණ බව පෙනේ !
බ්රිතාන්ය යටත් විජිත පාලනය කිරීමට යොදා ගත් උපක්රම එජාපයද භාවිතා කරයි ! උග්ර සිංහල බෞද්ධ විරෝධයද එජාපයේ ලක්ෂණයකි ! සංස්කෘතිකමය වශයෙන් ඇන්ග්ලිකානු ක්රිස්තියානි පක්ෂයකි ! දැන් නැවතත් සිරිසේන ඉදිරියට දමා බලය කොල්ල කා ඇත ! දැන් ඇත්තේ උතුරේ ත්රස්තවාදය බලවත් කිරීමේ ක්රියාවලියයි ! ඒ සඳහා කඳවුරු ඉවත් කිරීමත් කොටි නිදහස් කිරීමත් සිදුවේ ! ඒ අතර විරුධවාදීන්ට පහර දීම , පොලිසිය හරහා රාජ්ය ත්රස්තවාදය පැතිරවීම සිදු කෙරේ ! මෙය යහපාලනය කෙසේ වෙතත් ඒකාධිපති පැසිස්ට් පාලනයක් බව නම් කිව හැකිය !
ලේ රහ වැටුණු බල්ලකු කෙසේ වැලක් වුවද සපා කෑම වැළක්විය නොහැක. යමකුගේ අනාගත හැසිරීම තීරණය කරන්නේ අතීත හැසිරීම අනුවය! UNP යද එසේමය. ඔවුන් දන්නා යහපාලනයක් නැත. UNP පමණක් නොව ඔවුන් මෙන්ම බටහිර ඔත්තු සේවා මගින් මෙහෙයවන JVP සහ LTTE (TNA) ද එසේමය. කලකදී (මතුපිටින්) ගැටුණු දහස් ගණන් ඝාතන වලට වගකිව යුතු මොවුන් සියල්ල එක්වී සිල් රෙදි ඇඳ ත්රස්තවාදය වැනසූ රාජපක්ෂගේ ලෙය ඉල්ලීම හාස්ය ජනකය! චන්දය ලංවන විට අවාසි දිස්ත්රික්ක වල ප්රචණ්ඩ ක්රියා ඇති කිරීම අනිවාර්ය වේ ! සිදු වේ ගෙන යන දෙය අනුව ඉදිරියට සිදු වීමට ඇත්තේ කුමක්දැයි පක්ෂ ආගම් ලෙස නොඅදහන ඇස් ඇති ඕනෑම කෙනෙකුට පැහැදිලි විය යුතුය ! මෙය රාජපක්ෂගේ හෝ වීරවංසගේ ප්රශ්නයක් නොව රටේ සහ මතු පරපුරේ අනාගතය පිලිඹද ප්රශ්නයකි ! නමුත් අපේ රටේ ජනතාවට මෙතරම් ඉක්මනින් අතීතය අමතක වීම රටේ අවාසනාවකි ! අනික කිසිම රටක් විකුර්ති ලිංගිකයකු අගමැති තනතුර වැනි තනතුරකට පත් කරන්නේ නැත. ඒ ඔවුන් ස්වභාවයෙන්ම පවතින ක්රමයට විරුද්ධ නිසාය! (ඒ අතින්ද ලංකාව වාර්තාවක් තබා ඇත)
ඒ අතින් රනිල් යනු ප්රභාකරන්ටත් වඩා භයානක අයෙකි! එබැවින් කුමන දේශපාලන මතිමතාන්තර තිබුනත් මේ චන්දයේදී සන්ධානය වෙනුවෙන් චන්දය පාවිච්චි කිරීම රට ගැන, රටේ අනාගතය ගැන, විශේෂයෙන් මතු පරපුර ගැන සිතන සියලු දෙනාගේ වගකීමයි! යුතුකමයි ! එසේ නොකරන අය සමාන කල හැක්කේ රට වැනසූ ප්රභාකරන්ගේ මානසිකත්වයට පමණි!තම සහෝදර ප්රභාකරන් මැරූ පලිය රටෙන් ගැනීමට සියලු යක්ෂ බලවේග එකතු වී ඇති බැවිනි ! කරුණාකර FACEBOOK ඇතුළු සමාජ වෙබ් අඩවි වල පල කරන මෙන්, මැතිවරණ ප්රකාශන සඳහා යොදා ගන්නා මෙන්ද සියලු දේශප්රේමීන්ගෙන් ඉල්ලා සිටිමු!

The Mahendran name is coming up a lot in a negative way after Ranil became PM.
(1) Arjun Mahendran : Central Bank scam
(2) Kili Mahendran’s company imported container loads of Glyphosate, a weedicide compound which is killing Sinhala paddy farmers.
(3) Vijayakala Mahendran who is a UNP candidate is showing a map of Lanka with N&E separated out (per Cerberus above). Question to the Yahap President : Wither the 6-A ?

The two Kapuralas at Malwatte and Asgiriya have done little to advance the cause of Buddhism in SrI Lanka let alone in the rest of the world. They live on wealth of the Buddhist temples and the Nindagamas. They are shame to the whole Buddhist population in Sri Lanka. Can anyone remember even a single Buddhist sermon from these two imposters to the two high offices of the Buddhist hierarchy? They cannot remember the attack on the Sri Dalada Maligawa and on Jaya Sri Maha Bodhiya.
The truth is they are more UNP than Buddhist!
