රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහ මහතාට කිසිසේත්ම නැවත වතාවක් තමන් විසින් අගමැති ධුරය ලබා නොදෙන බව එක්සත් ජාතික පෙරමුණ නායකයන් සමග පැවති සාකච්ඡාවේ දී ජනාධිපති මෛත්‍රීපාල සිරිසේන මහතා යළි අවධාරණය කර තිබේ.
ජනාධිපති ලේකම් කාර්යාලයේ පැවැති මෙම හමුව සඳහා සජිත් පේ‍්‍රමදාස, රවි කරුණානායක, කබීර් හසීම්, මලික් සමරවික්‍රම, අකිල විරාජ් කාරියවසම්, මනෝ ගනේෂන්, දිගම්බරන්, බදුර්දීන්, චම්පික රණවක, රවුෆ් හකීම්, ගයන්ත කරුණාතිලක යන එක්සත් ජාතික පෙරමුණේ නියෝජිතයින් එක්ව සිටියහ.
සාකච්ඡාව ආරම්භයේදීම ජනාධිපතිවරයා විනාඩි තිහකට ආසන්න කාලයක් මේ කරුණු පැහැදිලි කරමින් පසුගිය වසර තුනහමාරක කාලයේ දී රටට සිදුවූ විනාශය සහ ආර්ථික පසුබෑම ගැන දීර්ඝ විස්තරයක් සිදු කළේ එක්සත් ජාතික පෙරමුණේ කිසිදු නියෝජිතයෙක් බාධා කිරීමකින් තොරවයි.
රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහ වෙනුවට වෙනත් අයකු පත් කරගන්න තමන් අවස්ථා ගණනාවක යෝජනා කළ ද අද වනතුරු එම කටයුත්ත සිදු කර ගැනීමට හැකි වී නැති බවද පවසා ඇති ජනාධිපතිවරයා රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහ මහතාට කිසිසේත්ම තමන් අගමැති ධුරය ලබා නොදෙන බව දැඩිව අවධාරණය කර ඇත.
ජනාධිපතිවරයා සිය දීර්ඝ අදහස් දැක්වීම අවසන් කරමින් එක්සත් ජාතික පෙරමුණේ නායකයන්ට අදහස් දක්වන්න කී පසු ඔවුන් විනාඩි තුන හතරක් කටඋත්තර නැති ව සිට ඇති බවද වාර්තාවෙයි.
අනතුරුව කබීර් හෂීම් මන්ත්‍රීවරයා විසින් යෝජනා කර ඇත්තේ පොදු වැඩපිළිවෙළක් යටතේ එක්වී කටයුතු කරන කිරීමට හැකිද කියයි.
ජනාධිපතිවරයා ද එය හොඳ අදහසක් බවත් සඳහන් කර ඇති අතර රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහ මහතා අගමැති ධුරයට පත් කර එම වැඩපිළිවෙළ ක්‍රියාත්මක කළ නොහැකි බව ද සඳහන් කළේය.
එහිදී ලක්ෂමන් කිරිඇල්ල මන්ත්‍රීවරයා විසින් පෙන්වා දුන්නේ පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ බලය ඇත්තේ එක්සත් ජාතික පෙරමුණට නිසා නව අගමැතිවරයෙක් පත් කළ යුතු බවයි. ඊට ප්‍රතිචාර දක්වමින් ජනාධිපතිවරයා සඳහන් කර ඇත්තේ අගමැති පත් කිරීමේ බලය ඇත්තේ තමනට මිස පාර්ලිමේන්තුවට නොවන බවත් පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ බහුතරය පෙන්වීම තමන් පත් කර අගමැතිගේ කටයුත්තක් බවත්ය.
පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී රාජිත සේනාරත්න මහතා අදහස් දක්වමින් පවසා ඇත්තේ ‘ඔබතුමා නායකත්වය අරගන්න. අපි ඔබ කියන විදිහට කරන්නම්. රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහ මහතා නාමිකව හෝ අගමැති ලෙස තියාගෙන ඉදිරි කාල සීමාව ආණ්ඩුව කරගෙන යමු’ යනුවෙනි.
ඊට ද ජනාධිපතිවරයා පවසා ඇත්තේ තමන් කිසිසේත්ම අගමැතිවරයා ලෙස යළි රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහ මහතාට කිසිම හේතුවක් මත පත් නොකරන බවයි.
පැය දෙකකට ආසන්න කාලයක් පැවති එම සාකච්ඡාව අවසන් වී ඇත්තේ කිසිදු විසඳුමකින් තොරවයි.

Whether we like it or not “රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහ මහතාට කිසිසේත්ම තමන් අගමැති ධුරය ලබා නොදෙන ” statement is against the constitution, because of the clause in the constitution “42(4) The President shall appoint as Prime Minister the Member of Parliament, who, in the President’s opinion, is most likely to command the confidence of Parliament.”.
He is not violating constitution if රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහ is proven to be unable to command the confidence of Parliament.
What he should do is ask Mahinda to attend the parliament with full strength and take a vote whether රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහ is commanding that confidence. There is a good chance that JVP may vote for it ( because JVP recently voted for the NCM against Ranil – they cannot now say he is good !) and many UNP cadres may also vote for it or will be absent. Such motion will surely create some trouble within UNP because most UNP MPs want Sajith now.
If Sirisena keeps on behaving like a dictator whole of Sri Lanka will be subjected to foreign intervention or even invasion.

How can a right thinking person or president can give the premiership to a man who has done so much damage to our country economically, culturally and socially. He was the guy who almost gave in writing more than half of the country to most ruthless terrorist Prabakaran and to his killer organization. It’s not easy to divide or break this country by anyone. It’s a country visited thrice by our great Lord Buddha and it’s not easy for someone to play around like their own property. At this moment we don’t need a stooge like Ranil the bank robber but a true Sinhala Buddhist patriotic citizen who will stand fearlessly on his two feet and say to our enemies”mind your own business” and work for the good of the people and the country. Majority of the people in this country genuinely behind Mahinda and Sirisena at this moment. If these stooges of the west and the Indian parasites thinks majority is with them let’s go for general election and try your luck. People are waiting to give their answer. UNP,TNA,JVP all history mind you. They will be branded as traitors to motherland in the history books. Sinhala Buddhists will stand unitedly and help to save Motherlanka.

I agree with Ranjit totally….
A large majority of people in SL are solidly behind MR & Sirisena. Ranil is the most unpopular politician right now. Even some members of the UNP are not happy with his leadership. They will rather have Sajith as their leader than Ranil.
This (Ranil) unpatriotic, ass-kisser of the West, has almost ruined the country for the last 3 years. Sirisena finally came to his senses and realised that Ranil had to go. Sirisena and Ranil will NEVER be able to work together again.
Sirisena is not behaving like a dictator, he has the right to kick Prime Minister out according to the constitution, as Ranil became disqualified to stay as PM after SLFP members pulled out of the unity government making Yahapalanaya government null & void. It is the most corrupted and partisan speaker, Karumaya Jayasooriya, trying to give oxygen to Ranil and his 40 thieves – who are dead against to go for elections.
If they believe in democracy, as they claim then Ranil and Speaker respect the voice of the people and let voters decide who they want next as their leader. Let them vote. What more democratic than that….?

එම හමුවේදි දෙමළ ජාතික සන්ධානය ලබාදෙන සහය වෙනුවෙන් නව ආණ්ඩුක්‍රම ව්‍යවස්ථාවක් ගෙන ඒමින් ජාතික ගැටළුවට විසඳුම් ගෙන ඒම,ත්‍රස්තවාදය වැළක්වීමේ පනත අහෝසි කිරීම,දෙමළ දේශපාලන සිරකරුවන් නිදහස් කිරීම, උතුරේ ආරක්ෂක හමුදාව බාරයේ ඇති ඉඩම් නිදහස් කිරීම වශයෙන් ඉල්ලීම් ගණනාවක් ඇතුළත් ලැයිස්තුවක් ඉදිරිපත් කළ අතර ඒ සියලු ඉල්ලීම් ඉටුකරන බවට රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහ මහතා පොරොන්දු වූ බව දෙමළ ජාතික සන්ධානය කියා සිටියි.

මෙම හමුවට සිවඥානම් සිරිධරන් හා එස්.සිවමෝහන් යන පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රීවරන් දෙදෙනා හැර දෙමළ ජාතික සන්ධානයේ පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රීවරුන් 12 දෙනෙකු සහභාගී වී තිබේ.

If “Ranil became disqualified” afte SLFP pulled out , how did Mahinda became qualified ? ( Because Sirisena likes him ?)
Now it is easily proven that Mahinda does not command the confidence of Parliament. Even Sirisena has accepted that. Now he is making a demand like “I will never make Ranil PM” which is obviously is dictator like because such demand is unconstitutional.
We can’t fool the whole world. This is a disaster. We have to find a better solution than this obvious dictatorship. This also allows TNA to become more powerful.
I think best for MR now is to be the opposition leader and let another year pass and let Ranil become more unpopular again. MR has lost a lot of ground now and there is a good chance for him to loose in a general election. If that happens, Sirisena will sure to join Ranil again with a promise to be the common candidate yet again. His only aim is to enjoy being President again.
If Sirisena did not apply enormous pressure to pass 19A ( with only one vote opposing), whatever he has done is 100% constitutional.

Randenige, your dream or your friends dreams will not realize in your dreams even. Majority of our citizens were very excited and happy about Sirisena’s decision to sack Ranil the bank robber and his clans from unsuccessful governance of our country. 19A should be scrapped and my view is whole 13 also should be scrapped. We need completely a new way of thinking and a new vision to take our beloved country forward. It’s a must because this is our country and we should think of our next generation and do things as per the wish of the majority Sinhala Buddhists. This is our home sweet home. No one can claim to our Sinhala land never.

My dream is to see Motherlanka
1. A country self sufficient in food and people have decent housing and basic freedom to practice Buddhism.
2. A country whose exports of goods and services are more than imports.
3. A country people are not a class below the class of your friends.
4. A country where women can travel in decent transport without getting abused by your friends.
5. A country where youth will be employed without begging for jobs by worshiping your firend’s feet.
If I have any friends, they are who love the country and those who fight to get rid of minority dominance exploiting Sinhalese by not only repealing 13A but with a new constitution to achieve 1-4.
Will Mahinda do that ?
Reading your lines unfortunately your dream is to make Mahinda a king and leave everything to him.
You also appear to be dreaming those who surround Mahinda are good people and Namal , the next king, will rule his subjects with Dasarajadhamma.
I don’t have such dreams.

Agree with Randeniyage.
Sinhalese must stop being doormats of Mahinda, Ranil, etc. who are in turn doormats of TNA, SLMC and ACMC. We must demand.
Abrogating 13A is a must for Sri Lanka to revive. Unless Mahinda, Gotabaya, etc. promises this at an election, they must be defeated (even if it means UNP wins). At least 2024 will have a bold leader for the Sinhalese then who will be forced to promise and do so (or lose again). We must follow such aggressive and unforgiving approaches to save the nation.
