Former Minister Bandula Gunawardena says that a motion of no confidence will be submitted in Parliament next week against Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake, who he claims is responsible for the crises that have befallen the country’s economy.

He stated that so far over 90 Parliamentarian have signed the no-confidence motion, which has already been finalized and is inclusive of 15 points.

The UPFA MP claims that Karunanayake has no moral right” to hold such a responsible post as Minister of Finance due to the latter’s alleged financial transactions with jailed hedge fund founder Raj Rajaratnam, who has contributed millions to the Tamils Rehabilitation Organisation (TRO), and the pending case against him in the High Court.

Gunawardena accused Karunanayake and Central Bank Governor Arjuna Mahendran of creating a large financial crisis before the international community.

Excellent work, go for it boys. Start with the Finance Minister and then go after the pick pocket Prime Minister and the back stabber President (who didn’t with hold the country’s constitution). They didn’t come to protect the people or the country (now it is proved beyond any doubt), they came to serve their masters the West and India.
