The Ministry of Industry and Commerce has initiated a programme to support local small and medium industries, whose annual turnover is less than Rs. 750 Mn. and permanent employment less than 300 to the 1^st Jan. 2017, to obtain above international standard certificates with the intention of improving industry productivity, sustainability, food safety and hygiene.

Benefits of the program are full initial certification fee, up to the maximum of the Rs.200,000/- will be reimbursed upon the submission of above certificates. Consultation fee up to the maximum of Rs.100,000/- will be reimbursed if the consultation service is provided by a government recognized institution. Continuous guidance will be provided for the period of certification process.

Those who are interested to apply for the above programme please send a self-prepared application including: company details, type of product, volume of annual production, value of export, annual turnover, no. of employments send to the given address on or before 09^th February 2017.
