Only 3 out of 1500 have complained – Suwaseriya Foundation

The Suwaseriya Foundation strongly denies all allegations regarding the quality of its ambulance service.

A statement signed by its chairman Duminda Ratnayake states that only three workers out of thousands of employees have made baseless allegations about the ambulance service.

The Suwaseriya Ambulance Service employs more than 1,500 staff and has taken steps to provide maximum health care to its employees.

The Suwaseriya Foundation said that they are working hand in hand with the health sector to control the current covid -19 epidemic situation in a hygienic and efficient manner, adding that in addition to hygiene suits, safety goggles, gloves and rubber boots for its employees as per the guidelines of the Ministry of Health have been given.

The Foundation further stated that the Suwasariya Ambulance Service has been able to keep pace with the international standards in terms of time taken to reach the area in case of an emergency and further stated that it is ready to further dedicate its service to the people in a more organized manner.

Meanwhile, MP Dr. Harsha de Silva also expressed his views regarding the Suwasariya ambulance service in Parliament today.
