Dear Radhika Coomaraswamy:

This is what I read in the Inner City Press today – “Inner City Press asked if she thought that the condition of IDP children in the Menik Farm camp in Vanni and elsewhere complied with the “Rights and guarantees for internally displaced children.”

Ms. Coomaraswamy replied that on “freedom of movement” and other issues, she believes the camps are “in violation of principles.”  She called Sri Lanka’s response: “draconic” or draconian.

Well…well…well, is this the same Radhika Coomaraswamy who sent Allan Rock to Sri Lanka who botched the whole exercise on trying to get the child soldiers released by the Tamil Tigers and the Karuna faction in the north and east of Sri Lanka?

Is this the same Radhika Coomaraswamy who failed to bring Velupillai Prabhakaran, the leader of the now defunct Tamil Tigers, the most ruthless terrorist group in the world, to the International Criminal Court in the Hague after a submission of an “amicus curiae” having got him arrested for recruiting over 5,300 children as child soldiers and training some to be suicide bombers?  It is also important to note that Prabhakaran is a Sri Lankan Tamil like you.

Is this the same Radhika Coomaraswamy who failed to save the Tamil children who were herded  like cattle along from the west to the east of Sri Lanka, hopping over and dodging the millions of land mines for two years  planted by the Tamil Tigers when they were retreating having their butts whipped militarily by the Sri Lankan Armed Forces, and now seem to be concerned about the children who were saved and been housed in temporary welfare villages and rehabilitated and schooled by the Sri Lankan Government?  What the heck is going on Radhika?

If you are indeed that person, I almost wondered whether you were punch drunk when you made that statement, more a Ra-deela  Co-Mara-Sammy rather than Radhika Coomaraswamy.

I am more concerned about the official you are sending to Sri Lanka, Major General Patrick Cammaert, who was UN’s Military Advisor to the UN’s Peacekeeping Operations.  Who was the Military Force Commander of the UN Mission in Ethiopia and Eritrea, the former Commander of the Multi National UN Stand-by Forces High Readiness Brigade (SHIRBRIG) and also the Commander of the Multi National Brigade of the Rapid Reaction Forces of the United Nations Protection Force (UNPROFOR).

If I were the Government of Sri Lanka, I won’t let him in as I suspect that this visit is more than wanting to report back to you on the “freedom of movement”  of the children and the IDP camps which you say are “in violation of principles” of the UN.  I see a much more sinister motive of the UN sending Major General Patrick Cammaert as I don’t trust you one bit.

But Radhika, quite apart from all that, I was quite taken back when I was informed by a domestic at the residence of President Mahinda Rajapaksa of this.  After his early morning briefing that Doctor Radhika Coomaraswamy was sending Major General Patrick Cammaert to Sri Lanka in the pretext that he was coming over to report back on the “freedom of movement” of Tamil children in the Menik Farm he had gone for his morning shower.  This person had heard the President sing quite loud these popular songs from the 40s, 50s and 60s one after the other.  These were the songs – ‘Boo-Hoo! – Baby Face – Don’t Blame Me – I don’t want to set the World on Fire – It’s all in the Game – Lovely to look at – Oh! Lady be Good – Let me call you Sweetheart (now don’t blush) –  Red Roses for  a Blue Lady – My Melancholy Baby – Send in the Clowns – Welcome to my World –  Call Me Irresponsible – I did it My Way – They Can’t Take that Away from Me.

I am told that he is an excellent baritone and could hold a song together well.   I didn’t know it, did you?  I wasn’t sure whether he was serenading Doctor Radhika Coomaraswamy or whether he was responding  in song to your sending Major General Cammaert to Sri Lanka on a false pretext.

Whatever it is, there is a clear message in that string of songs Radhika.  You are supposed to be a smart woman, so you better figure that one out.

Dear John:

I read your statement in today’s National Post defending the 76 Tamil illegal migrants who floated into Canadian Pacific Ocean waters on board the rusty Ocean Lady, to try and get them in as refugees.  The statement said –“In the House of Commons on Friday, Liberal MP John McKay said Tamils are seeking refuge in Canada “because of the injustices they experience each and every day from their government merely because they are Tamil.”

John, isn’t that awful?  These damn Sinhalese and I happen to be one of them too!  I think you are right, let’s get into Canada not only the 76 Tamil illegals, but also the 288,000 who were rescued from the clutches of the Tamil Tiger human shields, by the Sri Lankan Armed Forces on May 18 and housed them in temporary welfare shelters.

But you better hurry up John.  I understand the Sri Lankan Government has resettled 90,000 of them already, which mean you Liberals have lost 90,000 Tamils to boost the Liberal voter bank.  But then, I suppose, you can get their address list and go knocking at their doors with a plane ticket for each one of them, and coach them that after they get onto the plane to destroy their passports and when they land at the Pearson Airport in Toronto to say that they are refugees from Sri Lanka, as explained in parliament by Liberal MP John McKay about the injustices they experience every day, just because they are Tamil.

If they show some reluctance to come to Canada, here is the teaser.  Tell them that they could get a welfare cheque for over $500 each month, which is equivalent to over 50,000 rupees and I bet they will jump like Jacks-in-the-Boxes at this opportunity.

If they ask you, “Sir, where can we stay?”  Be honest and reassure them, telling, “That is no problem, I can have four families in tents in the back garden of my home, and there will be other Liberal MPs like Maria Minna, Jim Karygiannis, Judy Sgro, Derek Lee, John Cannis, Michelle Simson, Bob Rae, Bryon Wilfert, Dan McTeague, Albina Guarneiri, Yasmin Ratansi, Borys Wrrzesnewskyj, Andrew Karnia and John McCallum for starters who may be able to accommodate you all temporarily in tents in their back gardens of their homes until you will be found shelter by our Social Services”.  What an incentive!

John, your campaign is a good one.  After all you were one of the actors during the February 4^th Parliamentary Gong Show - “Emergency Debate on Sri Lanka” when you lied like a Trojan and convincingly with a straight face about Sri Lanka.

You said, “When Independence came, the Sinhalese majority decided that it was time to take back what was then Ceylon, and now Sri Lanka, as its own and implemented a number of laws that were reprehensible to the minority population.  The consequence of that was that the Tamil people were excluded from the civil service or it was very difficult to get into the civil service.  They were unable to access high education as they were excluded from high education.  These lists of difficulties, grievances, slights, injustices and outrages built and built until we have what we have today, a civil war….”

You know John, even though all what you said was a crotch full of Cod’s wallop, I will still support you siphoning all the 288,000 from the welfare villages in the North of Sri Lanka and bring them over to Canada.  Even though I will say this about you if asked: “Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who is the liar of them all?  It is John McKay,” yet, I will still support your campaign to siphon the 288,000 Tamils including hardcore Tamil Tigers, suicide bombers with all the warts, into Canada. 

These hardcore Tamil Tigers will tell the border-guard custom officers when asked, “What is this”, pointing to the case carrying the AK47.  “Oh! It is a  Gundumbaram, a Tamil musical instrument”.  And when they ask, “What is this?” pointing at a hand grenade”.  The Tamil Tiger would say, “It is a flask with ayurvedic  medicinal payawa for my sinus ailment.”  So you will be OK, John. You won’t have problems to get them in.

I understand why you couldn’t let the parliament know the truth about the Tamils as your intention was to lie to help the Tamils come in to Canada who would eventually become your party voter bank, like when the July 1983 riots took place the highest  ranking Police Officer, the Inspector General of Police was Rudra Rajasingham, a  Jaffna Tamil; The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court was  S. Sharvananda also a Jaffna Tamil together with several Supreme Court Judges, and  that  the Attorney General was a Siva Pasupathy, also a Jaffna Tamil.  And that when the  July 1983 ethnic riots happened the High Commissioner in Britain was a Tamil, the Ambassador in Germany, the Ambassador in France and the Ambassador in China were all Tamils.  I know you had to cloak yourself as the biggest parliamentary liar to hide the truth that three Tamils were also Cabinet Ministers then, just because you wanted to bring over the Tamils to bolster the Tamil voter bank in the GTA ridings.

It might have been tough for an honest Liberal parliamentarian like you to turn out to become a God-dam Big Liar, but then I understand why you took the role.  Wanting to help the Tamils to get over to Canada was worth it, I suppose.   I take it that money too is involved in this whole nefarious exercise.  There are billions of dollars in the Tamil Tiger International funds that have been forked out to help Tamils to be sneaked in to the western countries.  I will give you a high-five when you get the last of the 288,000 rescued Tamil into Canada.  Let’s do it John.

It may have pricked your honest conscience when you lied in parliament during the debate when you said, “They were unable to access higher education as they were excluded from high education” knowing that in 1977 when the Tamil population was 12.6%, Tamils admitted for Medicine at the University constituted 27.8% of the admissions, for Veterinary Science was 44.8%, Agriculture 23.5%, Architecture 31.3%, 33% were Bio-Science students and 34.9% were Engineering students.

You just have to ignore anyone describing you as, “Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the liar of them all? It is John McKay the Liberal Member of Parliament for Scarborough-Guildwood”, because I understand why you turned out to be a God-damn Liar.  The cause is a good one.  Wanting to take in the 77 illegal migrants who turned up in the Ocean Lady and wanting to bring over the 288,000 Tamils who were rescued by the Sri Lankan Armed Forces is a good enough cause to turn to be a liar.

Hurry up John. The Government of Sri Lanka is resettling these rescued Tamils from the North pretty fast now.  Let’s siphon them out.  And I promise to come with you to Colombo to help you to push the loaded planes off the run-way at the Katunayake airport in case they are too heavy to take off. 

So, Hurry, Hurry, John.  Just ignore people calling you a “God-damn Liar,”  as I understand your goodwill gesture towards the Tamils who will be loyal to you and vote Liberal the rest of their lives and even kneel down to polish your shoes in servitude.

 Dear Bob Brown:

“The Leader of Australia’s Green Party has urged the government to consider sanctions against Sri Lanka amid concerns about the treatment of the country’s Tamil population.”  This statement by you was reported in the local paper.

Senator Bob that indeed is a strong statement wanting to cripple Sri Lanka. While you seem to present yourself as a humanist with a bleeding heart crying for the Tamils I was expecting you to bleed a crimson red, but hey!, when I mixed the colours green and brown in my palette, what I got was a tar black.  Hmmmm…Does Senator Bob bleed a Tar-black rather than a crimson red,  showing the ugly side of his humanism I wondered!

I am slightly confused with your statement – “…concerns about the treatment of the country’s Tamil population.”  I wish you explained more.  Here’s my confusion:

1.  The 3.9% Tamil population (World Watch 2009 stats) can own any square inch of land in any part of Sri Lanka, but the majority Sinhalese population (74%) cannot own even half of one square inch of land in the Jaffna peninsula in the north of Sri Lanka, according to the existing Law.  Hmmm…what is your concern here Bob?  The Tamils have got it all.  They have absolutely nothing to gripe about.
2. Of the population of the capital Colombo, 40% are Tamils, and that too is out of the island’s total population of 3.9% of Tamils.  Well…did you expect all of the population of the capital Colombo to be Tamils? Don’t you think they are doing well in Sri Lanka’s capital.  I am beginning to see your tar-black humanism working against the 74% of the Sinhalese population.  Are you being a Godfather to the Tamils bought by the Tamil Tiger International billion dollar cartel?  Come on Bob, spit out the truth.
3.  When in 1880 you all from Down Under hanged in Melbourne your legendary outlaw Edward “Ned” Kelly for killing three policemen,  yet in Sri Lanka Karuna, the breakaway Tamil Tiger terrorist who was responsible for shooting to death at point blank range 700 Sinhalese policemen who had surrendered when promised that they would be sent South without being harmed,  was not hanged by the Sri Lankan Government but was appointed to the Cabinet as the Minister responsible for National Integration and  Reconciliation.    So what’s your beef, Bob? So how come you are still concerned about the treatment of the country’s Tamil population?  My suspicion that you have accepted the role of being the Tamil’s Godfather Down Under is beginning to gel.  Hmmmm….When did that monetary transaction take place, Bob?  Come on, spit out the truth.!
4. Bob, as peace returned to the once Tamil Tiger bullet and bomb pocked Northern Jaffna theatre, its Tamil population is witnessing development projects hitherto never ever seen by their parents or grandparents since independence in February 1948.  The Uthuru Wasanthaya programmes launched after May 18, when the Tamil Tigers went down to the count of  a wrestling Crocodile Dundee’s “One, Two, Three” into oblivion, the Government of Sri Lanka has embarked upon providing all basic needs for their legitimate aspirations.

The Educationists in Jaffna have welcomed the Government’s upgrading of their schools providing all facilities for their Tamil students.  The farming communities in Jaffna from the agricultural sector have been jubilant over the efforts by the Government to help them restart cultivation that came to a complete stop during the two decade of Tamil Tiger terrorism as they planted landmines like mushrooms all over the land rather than rice in paddies.

So what are your “concerns”, Bob.  So what is your beef wanting to cripple Sri Lanka?   It certainly does show that your heart bleeds the Green+Brown back tar of hate for the Sri Lankan majority Sinhalese.

Perhaps, you may want to explain more of your concerns about the country’s (Sri Lanka) treatment of the Tamil population, the way you have been brainwashed by the Australian-Tamils because I just don’t get it.

When your Queensland’s aboriginal poet Margaret Armstrong wrote with a certain pain,

“You came over to our land and took it/ Devastation to our people you knew it/ You thought that putting us away/ We should be here to obey”,

I see your white-colonial attitude that you are projecting toward the dark-skinned Sri Lankans. I tell you Senator Bob Brown, just cut it.    You have noticed that Sri Lanka has survived all the western international bashings, and she would quite easily bear another neo-colonial punch from Australia, and you won’t get anywhere. 

My hunch is that President Mahinda Rajapaksa will tell Australia’s Green Party Leader Bob Brown- “Why don’t you pick up the most beautiful  Australian refugee-Tamil Lechchimi and keep waltzing into the sunset to the strains of ‘Waltzing Matilda, Waltzing Matilda, You come a-waltzing Matilda with me’, and keep your hands off Sri Lanka.”

Sir:

You reported that ‘Migrant ship belongs to Tamil Tigers: experts’, and ‘Intercepted last week,Ocean Lady used to smuggle arms from N.Korea.’

Defending these 76 illegal Tamil migrants who by-passed their homeland, Tamil Nadu in South India where 62 million of their people live, and who paid $45,000 for each person to be smuggled into Canada, Sue Nathan of the Canadian Tamil Congress during the media conference outside the Citizenship and Immigration Canada offices in Vancouver said, “These men have fled murder and abduction, which is very rampant in Sri Lanka….”

That profile fits like a glove of the Tamil Tigers, who abducted over 5,300 under 14 years aged Tamil children and trained them to be child soldiers and suicide bombers, and murdered every leading member of the rival terrorist group TELO, PLOTE and EPRLF and  Tamil politicians, who did not toe their line for separation:  three Mayors of Jaffna, Lakshman Kadiragamar, Sri Lanka’s Foreign Minister, and Sam Tambimuhthu MP for Batticaloa and his wife who were gunned down on May 7, 1990, at the door step of the Canadian Embassy in Colombo who were on their way to collect their visas to visit Canada, and  intellectuals like Neelan Thiruchelvam, a Harvard Law Professor who was helping to draft the new Constitution and many more politicians and intellectuals.

Let’s remind Sue Nathan  that the Tamil Tigers were militarily eliminated on May 18, this year, and that there was no need for these Tamils to get on a Tamil Tiger owned ship to land on Canadian soil seeking refuge.

There is a deadly silence among the Liberal parliamentarians who stood up in relays in the House on February 4^th during the Emergency Debate on Sri Lanka advocating our Government to bring over the 288,000 rescued Tamils from the temporary camps in the North of Sri Lanka. Why?  I suppose they now realize that they better be careful what they wish for as the chickens have finally come to roost in Canada, and very likely there may be many more ship loads. 

My motto is, SAVE CANADA: STOP THE TAMIL TIGERS.

Dear Tom:

I heard what you said loud and clearly –  “Human Rights Watch called for an independent international investigation’, on the 73 page US State Department’s Report on Sri Lanka’s War  Abuses.

You surprise me Tom.  After all you guys didn’t provide Sri Lanka’s Army Commander Sarath Fonseka, your Human Rights Watch Manual for Dummies. “How to fight a Separatist War: They can Kill Us but we cannot Kill Them”, which would have benefitted the Sri Lanka’s Armed Forces immensely when they were fighting the Tamil Tigers to eliminate them.  All this ballyhoo about Sri Lanka’s War Crimes would not have been a concern at all if you had guided the Sri Lankan Armed Forces how to fight the Tamil Tigers by getting killed and not killing a single Tamil Tiger.  My question to you is, are you lot at HRW in fusion with the US State Department and the Tamil Tiger financiers to besmirch Sri Lanka and its Armed Forces Commanders?

There are times when I have envied you guys at HRW.  For the very reason that you all are living a life of ‘easy salaries’ sitting on your butts and your women folk on their padded butts going after little countries like Sri Lanka who have fought their way to give its people their right-to-life which was high-jacked by the now eliminated Tamil Tigers after almost 30 years of their ruling the roost.  Even though it is a life of a liar, I still wouldn’t mind stretching out my palm every end of the month to have it garnished by ill-gotten funds for satisfying your clients like the pro-Eelam camps who have millions of dollars to pay out just for sending out press releases by groups like HRW for poking at Sri Lanka to bring her into disrepute.

A little fly on the wall at your last Board Meeting gave me this interesting story.  All the names are fictitious to hide their identity.

The door opens, and Jezebel rushes in -  

Jezebel: “Sorry folks, that I am late.  I just had to get a cup of tea”.  
Anna: “Surely, you are still not drinking Ceylon Tea, are you?  I thought we were boycotting drinking Ceylon tea as Raja demanded that we cut that habit or else our funding will suffer.  Believe me, Darjeeling Tea is as good as Ceylon Tea.”   
Jezebel: “Sorry, I will remember that.”  
Tommy: “What’s the latest Anna?  Have you heard from Kumar? When did we get the last cheque from his outfit?”  
Anna:  “He phoned me last Monday.  He told me that a US$500,000 cheque is waiting to be hand delivered no sooner we make a strong statement after the US State Department Report comes out.  He wants us to push for an independent War Crimes inquiry.  He wants one of us to get an interview on a National TV station to make the Sri Lankan Army abuses look credible even though the stories quoted in US Report will be unsubstantiated. ‘Lie through your teeth’ he said”    
Tommy (swivels his chair to face Luke): “So how strong is our bank balance?” 
Luke: “Not too good.  The numbers are slipping away.  Unless we have another boost from this Tamil Tiger outfit, we might have to lay off at least two from our Washington Office and curtail our travelling for strategy meetings to kill Sri Lanka.”    
Jezebel: “Hmmm… this doesn’t sound good.  I hope when the cuts come it won’t be me, as I have a heavy mortgage to pay and John has just lost his job.”   
Tommy: What choices have we got other than going after Sri Lanka and try to get these bastards dragged into a War Crimes Court.  Anna, can you get on your blower and tell Kumar  that we will make that statement no sooner the US Report comes out, and ask him to have that cheque delivered without delay.  Assure him that we have got Sri Lanka lassoed and will be tightening the noose every day.  
Anna: “OK”.   
Tommy:  “I understand that the US State Department will be coming out with its Report by 2:00 on Thursday afternoon.  We know the gist of it anyway. It will be about the alleged shelling of civilians and killing 6,000 of them during the final days of the battle.  The claims, no doubt will be unsubstantiated.  But then who the hell cares, we need the money. Human Rights Watch needs to survive, so let’s lie.  Let’s meet at 5:00 Thursday afternoon here to plot our strategy with press releases, TV interviews,  and the rest.  Anna, call Kumar to have the cheque delivered by noon on Friday.  This meeting is adjourned.”                     

All what I can say to you Tom is, “You bunch of bastards!”

Tom, all this reminds me of the Nursery Rhyme which I learnt in the Kindergarten.

“Tom, Tom the Piper’s son
Stole the pig and away he ran,
The pig was eat and Tom was beat
And Tom went roaring down the street.

 And I read a similar new-age Nursery Rhyme in the Vanakkam Golden Nursery Rhymes edition published somewhere in South India.  How appropriate, I thought it was.

“Tom, Tom, HRW’s son
Stole a Tamil Tiger and away he ran
To get him kill Sri Lankan soldiers.
The Tiger clawed him and Tom got eat
Now HRW looks like bloodied dead meat.”

Sir:

“Would-be migrants should face scrutiny, Kenney says”.  What Minister Jason Kenney has to realized is that the chickens have come to roost in Canada finally.  No doubt there will be more chickens from Sri Lanka on its way to nest in Canada.

All this is because we gave the many thousands of Tamils an audience in late April and early May and let them take over Wellington Street at a cost of over $900,000 to the tax payers to let them spin their yarns to get their people over from Sri Lanka.  Into the mix was the February ‘Emergency Debate on Sri Lanka’ in parliament which turned the Chamber of the House to a Tamil Blarney Theatre where many MPs lied and blasted the Sri Lankan Government to gain support from the Tamil constituents who were packed in the Gallery that evening.  And then the media too gave these Tamils a hand by letting them spin their yarns without interviewing a single person from the opposing camp who would have warned Canada, “Watch out, be careful of the Tamil chicken coming to roost in Canada illegally.”

Minister Kenney say, “We want to ensure that we don’t end up with a two-tier immigration system, one tier for legal, law-abiding immigrants who wait patiently to come to Canada the legal way, and another that incentizses (sic) false refugee claimants to come through the back door.”

Where were you Minister for the past 20 years?  Wasn’t that what was happening with the Tamil false refugee claimants in the thousands who return to Sri Lanka for their holidays no sooner they get their Canadian passport.  Walk down the streets of Scarborough in Toronto and you will know what I mean.

Notwithstanding all this, let these 76 Tamils in and siphon all the Tamils out of Sri Lanka’s north while they are still in the IDP welfare camps, as pretty soon there won’t be none as they will be housed in their new homes built by the Government of Sri Lanka. Isn’t that what the Liberal’s and NDPiers wanted during the Emergency debate on Sri Lanka on February 4^th?   Well… now that we have made the bed, we better sleep on it now!
